PROBATION OF STUDENT IN BRAZIL

Since 4 until 29, January, 2016 the student of medical faculty No 3 at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university Arkadiy Vodianyk passed through probation in pediatric department of University Clinic Pernambuku (c. Resifi, Brazil).

The probation was organized according to the Memorandum about cooperation between O.O. Bohomolets National medical university and International medical students association in Ukraine (UMSA) within the professional exchanges of students.

During probation the student of University acquired the working experience at pediatric department during the period of epidemics, caused by Zika virus. He had the possibility to learn the process for rendering the ambulatory and hospital care to patients with various pathologies, both infectious and somatic ones. The students from Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Paraguay were together with Ukrainian student at probation in Brazil, they all had the possibility to perform the examinations of patients at the level with interns, to take part in discussion of the plan for diagnostics and treatment, to assist during fulfillment of operations.

The international probation is the unique possibility for students to improve their level of knowledge in chosen sphere of medicine and to learn the work of other universities and clinics.
