THE MEETING OF GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF UKRAINE TOOK PLACE

The General Assembly of National Youth Council of Ukraine took place on 30, January, 2016 in morphological building of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.

The following persons took part in the assembly: deputy minister of youth and sports of Ukraine Serhii Mytrofanskyy, chairman in National youth council in Germany – Lizi Mayer, representatives from European youth forum, National youth councils in Moldova and Lithuania.

Over 80 participants from 17 international youth organizations from all Ukraine, as well as the representatives from all-Ukrainian youth association of medical students and students of our university were present at the event.

The National Youth Council of Ukraine presented the results from research YouthIndex about life of a young person in Ukraine in comparison with adult.

During the meeting the participants also defined the strategic priorities for National Youth Council of Ukraine (NYCU). Among the most important ones are the international cooperation, development of NYCU at regional level and researches of youth.

They also spoke about financing of youth policy, international experience in implementation of youth projects, urgent possibilities for youth mobility and development of youth strategies at regional level.
