Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute in 1991. Since 1993 works at ID Department: 1993-2005 – Professor Assistant; 2005-2009 – Associate Professor; since 2009 – Head of the ID Department. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (“Non-cardiac complications of diphtheria in adults” (2002), thesis of the Doctor of Medicine (PhD) degree (“Opportunities of monitoring of the progress and effectiveness of treatment of chronic hepatitis C using non-invasive methods of diagnostics” (2009).
Member of the editorial boards of medical journals “Hepatology”, “Practitioner”, “Tuberculosis, lung disease, HIV infection” Member of the International Society of Travel Medicine. Deputy Chairman of the expert council on the examination of dissertations’ quality in medicine of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Republican problem commission “Infectious and parasitic diseases” Ministry of Public Health (MOH) of Ukraine, A member of the Specialized Academic Council on the defense of theses for the degree of Candidate / Doctor of Medicine at the SI ” Gromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases, NAMS of Ukraine”. Organizer and chair of the organizing committee of many scientific conferences in Ukraine with international participation. Participation with reports at WHO events, numerous scientific and practical conferences all over the world. She has more than 200 scientific works, including basic textbook “Infectious Diseases” (in Ukrainian, Russian and English), 5 textbooks, 10 utility model patents and 1 patent of Ukraine. Scientific supervisor of 5 PhD thesis.
