Olga Golubovska

Head of Infectious diseases department, Professor, MD, PhD, Honored Doctor of Ukraine.

Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute  in 1991. Since 1993 works at ID Department: 1993-2005 – Professor Assistant; 2005-2009 – Associate Professor; since 2009 – Head of the ID Department. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (“Non-cardiac complications of diphtheria in adults” (2002), thesis of the Doctor of Medicine (PhD) degree (“Opportunities of monitoring of the progress and effectiveness of treatment of chronic hepatitis C using non-invasive methods of diagnostics” (2009).

Chief Editor of International Scientific and Practical Journal “Clinical Infectology and Parasitology”, Member of the editorial boards of medical journals “Hepatology”, “Practitioner”, “Tuberculosis, lung disease, HIV infection” Member of the International Society of Travel Medicine. Deputy Chairman of the expert council on the examination of dissertations’ quality in medicine of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Republican problem commission “Infectious and parasitic diseases” Ministry of Public Health (MOH) of Ukraine, A member of the Specialized Academic Council on the defense of theses for the degree of Candidate / Doctor of Medicine at the SI ” Gromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases, NAMS of Ukraine”. Organizer and chair of the organizing committee of many scientific conferences in Ukraine with international participation. Participation with reports at WHO events, numerous scientific and practical conferences all over the world. She has more than 200 scientific works, including basic textbook “Infectious Diseases” (in Ukrainian, Russian and English), 5 textbooks, scientific monograph “Malaria”, 10 utility model patents and 1 patent of Ukraine. Scientific supervisor of 5 PhD thesis.

Andrew Shkurba

Professor, MD, PhD

Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute in 1982. 1982—1984 — clinical resident at ID Department. 1991 – 2000 — Professor Assistant, since 2000 — Associate Professor; since 2011 – Professor of the ID Department. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine “Extrahepatic cholestasis in viral hepatitis” (1996). PhD thesis ” Diagnostics and treatment of various variants of viral hepatitis due to computer programs” (2009). Chief Editor Deputy International Scientific and Practical Journal “Clinical Infectology and Parasitology”. Co-author of 6 textbooks, 5 scientific monographs, 8 typical and 18 working educational programs on the discipline “Infectious diseases” for higher medical institutions of IV level of accreditation. He is the author of 244 scientific works, 44 of which are educational and methodical, 5 utility model patents and 1 Ukrainian patent.

Igor Anastasii

Associate Professor, MD, PhD

Graduated from O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University in 1993. 1995 – Master’s degree, in 1998 – postgraduate study at ID Department at O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (PhD) «Clinical course of diphtheria in vaccinated persons» (2002). Head in scientific students’ club. Responsible for clinical work at ID department of Clinical Hospital №9. Author of 72 scientific works, among them 2 study guides.

Oleksandra Bezrodna

Associate Professor, MD, PhD

Graduated from O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University in 2007. 2011 – 2015 – postgraduate study at ID Department at O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University. PhD thesis “Features of clinical course of HCV-associated liver cirrhosis depending on it’s stage” (2015). Author of 41 scientific works, among them 3 study guides. She is responsible for study and methodical work at department. Membership at EACS since 2019.

Oksana Gudzenko
 

Associate Professor, MD, PhD

Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute in 1984. 1984—1986 — clinical resident at ID Department, 1986 – 1989 postgraduate study at ID Department at Kyiv Medical Institute.
Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (PhD) «Clinical immunological characteristics of flu in patients with diabetes mellitus» (1990).

She is responsible for study and methodical work at department with English-speaking students. Author of 48 scientific works, among them 2 study guides. She is co-author «HIV – INFECTION a tutorial for medical students» and “Studyguide of the lecture of course infection disease».

Hanna Zaplotna

Associate Professor, MD, PhD

Graduated from M. Gorky National Medical University in 1984. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (PhD) “Clinical and immunological features of the course and effectiveness of immunocorrection therapy in acute meningitis”, 1992.

117 scientific works, 2 monographs. Trained in infectious diseases and epidemiology at the clinic in Salzburg, Austria. Regularly participates in international forums for hepatologists and gastroenterologists which were devoted to the problems of diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases (EASL, International Liver Congress, Paris Hepatitis Congress).

Mykola Korchynskyi

Associate Professor, MD, PhD

Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute in 1981. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (PhD) “Complex treatment of patients with prolonged form of viral hepatitis B using the drugs that improve the microcirculation” (1988).

Field of research: viral hepatitis, HIV infection. He is responsible for the scientific work at the department and for the clinical work at ID Department at Clinical Hospital  № 15. He is the author of 77 scientific works, 6 of which are methodical. 

Natalia Mytus

Associate Professor, MD, PhD

Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute in 1986. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (PhD) “Features of the course of inflammation of upper respiratory airways that caused by diphtheroid” (2002).
She is the author of 55 scientific works, 6 of which are methodical.

Graduated from Vinnitsky state medical institute in 1982. Defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine (PhD) “Peculiarities for course of diphtheria nowadays in adults” (1995). She is responsible for the clinical work at ID Department at Oleksandrivska Hospital.  Author of 55 scientific works, among them 2 study guides. She is co-author «HIV – INFECTION a tutorial for medical students» and “Studyguide of the lecture of course infection disease».

She is the author of 35 scientific works. Traineeship  at EACS Medical Exchange Program at St Antoine Hospital in Paris, France (2019-2020). EACS membership since 2019.
