The special attention is paid to improvement in forms and methods on final stage of control – final modular control (4th, 5th, 6th course) and state attestation, which is held in two stages in the 6th course – medical licensing examination KROK-2 (general medical care – 14.0513) and occupation-oriented exam in internal, occupational and infectious diseases.

The multilevel system for check of knowledge and skills at students that consists of computer testing due to own original testing programs, written answers for a block of questions, which cover different infectious diseases due to mechanisms of transfer, and situational task, which enable checking the practical skills, exists for a long time for final modular control in the 5th course.

Since development and implementation of medical licensing exams “Krok-2, medical care” and “Krok-3”, the department constantly takes an active part in the work of commission at testing center for occupational competence of specialists with higher education with training direction “Medicine and pharmacy” for establishment and replenishments of bank for test tasks on academic discipline “Infectious diseases” and annual work of commission on professional expertise.

The contact with specialists- infectiologists, who passed through pre-graduate and post-graduate study at department, is not lost during many years. Their wishes are used in academic process.
