Student scientific club

Since 1997 a student scientific club has been working at the department under the guidance of professors, associated professors, and associated lecturers of the department.  Students of 3 – 6 years of study are usually engaged in its work.

The main aim of student club work is formation of scientific work skills and ability of their implementation into scientific and research work in its members as well as finding out the most talented and skilled students able to be engaged into students’ scientific and research activity.

One of the directions of students’ activity is participation in the treatment activity.

Members of a club are usually working in clinical bases of the department:

  • «Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology» named after Academician O.M. Lukyanova, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”;
  • Children’s Clinical Hospital №4 of Solomyansky District, Kyiv;
  • “Center of primary medical and sanitary care № 4” of Kyiv Desnyansky district;
  • Kyiv Clinical Railway Hospital № 1, branch “Health Care Center” “Ukrainian Railways”;
  • Outpatient Polyclinic department “Kyiv City Children’s Diagnostic Center”;
  • “Children’s Clinical Hospital № 7 of Pechersk district of Kyiv” (polyclinic department).

Club members participate in International and Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences, students’ Olympiads, and other events.
