Head of the Department of Pediatric Hepatology of the State University “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Academician O.M. Lukyanova of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
She graduated with honors from the Vinnytsia Medical Institute named after M.I. Pirogov in 1986. In 1989-1991, she studied at the clinical residency in pediatrics at the Research Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kyiv.
In 1994, she defended her thesis for obtaining the scientific degree of candidate of medical sciences in the specialty “Pediatrics” on the topic “Peculiarities of the detoxifying function of the liver and its correction in children with chronic hepatitis.” In 2007, she defended her doctoral dissertation “Clinical-pathogenetic features of liver fibrogenesis in chronic hepatitis in children and ways of its medical correction.” In 2002, she received the academic title of “senior researcher”. From 2006 to 2021 – scientific secretary of the State University “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Academician O.M. Lukyanova of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
In September 2016, she was elected to the position of head of the Department of Pediatrics No. 1 of NMU named after O.O. Bogomoletsa.
In 2019, she completed an internship in pediatric hepatology at the Royal University Hospital (London, Great Britain).
In 2020, she received the academic title of “professor”.
On the initiative of Berezenko V.S. in 2015, the Children’s Hepatology Center was established on the basis of the State University “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
The field of scientific interests is the study of features of the course, mechanisms of progression, improvement of diagnosis and treatment of chronic liver diseases in children, non-invasive methods of diagnosis of liver fibrosis in children, inflammatory bowel diseases.
Under the leadership of Berezenko V.S. 5 dissertations have been defended for obtaining the scientific degree of candidate of medical sciences, 2 dissertations are being prepared for defense – for obtaining the scientific degrees of doctor of medical sciences and doctor of philosophy.
Based on the results of research Berezenko V.S. diagnostic algorithms for iron overload syndrome in children with chronic hepatitis C, diagnostic criteria for assessing the stage of fibrosis in children with chronic viral hepatitis B and C, autoimmune hepatitis, treatment regimens aimed at curbing liver fibrosis in children with chronic hepatitis, diagnostic algorithm have been introduced into clinical practice and monitoring the course of liver damage in children with inflammatory bowel diseases, diagnostic criteria for duodenal mucosal damage in adolescents with food hypersensitivity.
Berezenko V.S. is the author of more than 200 scientific publications, 1 textbook, 1 manual, 17 utility model patents and inventions.
Berezenko V.S. is a member of the Academic Council of NSU named after O.O. Bogomolets and State University “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Acad. OHM. Lukyanova National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; is a member of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine and the board of the Association of Children’s Gastroenterologists and Nutritionists of Ukraine; member of the editorial board of the journal “Ukrainian Journal of Perinatology and Pediatrics”.
Since 2016, she has been a member of the working group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for the preparation of standards and clinical guidelines “Viral hepatitis B in children”, “Viral hepatitis C in children”.

She graduated with honors from the Ternopil State Medical Academy named after I.Ya. Gorbachevsky, Faculty of Medicine (1998). From 1998 to 1999, she worked as an intern at the Ternopil City Children’s Clinical Hospital. In parallel, she studied at an internship and a master’s degree at the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Ternopil State Medical Academy named after I.Ya. Gorbachevskii. In 1999, she entered postgraduate studies in the specialty “Pediatrics” at the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Ternopil State Medical Academy named after I.Ya. Gorbachevskii.
Assistant of the Department of Propedeutics of Children’s Diseases (2003-2005), associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics with a course of pediatric surgery of the Ternopil State Medical Academy named after I.Ya. Gorbachevskii (2005-2009).

In 2002, she defended her candidate’s thesis on the topic “The state of bone mineral density in children with combined pathology of the gastroduodenal and hepatobiliary systems”, in 2013 she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic “Vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency in the population of Ukraine and their impact on the structural functional state of bone tissue”.
Author of more than 300 scientific publications in domestic and foreign publications, co-author of a manual for students, 5 monographs, three methodological recommendations, 4 information sheets and 5 invention patents, is a co-author of medical care standards “Prevention and treatment of alimentary rickets”.
Conducts a consultative reception at the consultative and diagnostic polyclinic of the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. He is a member of the multidisciplinary group of the Okhmatdyt National Health Service for the comprehensive treatment of patients with hemoblastosis. Expert at the Ministry of Health in the field of “Medical products for citizens suffering from epidermolysis bullosa”. Member of the International Society for Children’s Bone Health (ISCBH), the Ukrainian branch of the scientific society of the European Vitamin D Association (EVIDAS), the Ukrainian Osteoporosis Association.
The field of scientific interests is the development of methods of diagnosis and treatment of primary and secondary systemic osteoporosis in children, in particular, imperfect osteogenesis, glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis; creation of a system of diagnosis and therapy of secondary chronic protein-energy deficiency in children with severe somatic pathology, development of methods of prevention and correction of vitamin D deficiency in patients with pathology of the musculoskeletal system, development of methods of diagnosis and correction of sarcopenia in children with orphan pathology; implementation of the exome sequencing technique in the verification of orphan diseases of bone tissue.

In 1991, she graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Kharkiv Medical Institute. After completing her internship in 1992, she worked for five years in Polyclinic No. 1 of City Children’s Hospital No. 23 in Kharkiv, first as a district doctor, and then as the head of the pediatric department. From 1997 to 2005, she worked at the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology of the Kharkiv Postgraduate Medical Academy. From 2005 to the present, he has been working at the Department of Pediatrics No. 1 of the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, first as an associate professor, and since 2012 as a professor of the department. The academic title “Professor” was awarded in 2015. Scientific and pedagogical experience is 23 years.
In 2000, she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Clinical significance of studying the biocenosis of the large intestine in chronic Helicobacter-associated diseases of the organs of the gastroduodenal zone in children.” In 2012, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Clinical and morphofunctional features of the formation of the recurrent course of chronic gastroduodenal pathology in children and its pathogenetic treatment.”

Tetyana Viktorivna retired, graduated with honors from the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets in 1978. In 1978-1981 studied in clinical residency, 1981-1984. – full-time postgraduate studies at the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Medical Academy of Ukraine. From 1984 to 1988, she held the position of junior researcher, from 1988 to 2000. Senior Researcher, 2000-2002 – Leading Researcher, 2002-2003 – Chief Researcher of IPAG of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. On December 25, 2002, she passed the competition for the position of professor of the Department of Pediatrics No. 1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets, he has been working in this position since January 14, 2003 until now. In 1984, she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences, majoring in pediatrics, on the topic “Effect of complex therapy with the inclusion of unitiol on lipid peroxidation in children with chronic diseases of the hepatobiliary system.” In 2002, she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Pathogenetic mechanisms of immune disorders in children suffering from repeated acute respiratory viral infections and differentiated approaches to their correction.” In 2008, she received the academic title “Professor”. Tajka Oleksandr Vasylivna

She headed the department from 1991 to 2016.
Scientific research is devoted to the study of the immunological status of children with acute leukemia and lymphogranulomatosis at various stages of the development of these diseases; features of the immune system of young children with their predisposition to recurrent infectious diseases, taking into account constitutional features for the development and justification of preventive measures and improvement of their treatment; the study of the immune and endocrine status of children with thymomegaly in age dynamics and the development of therapeutic and preventive measures for this category of children; a significant place in the activity is the study of allergic diseases in children, their prevention and treatment.
Prof. Heavy O.V. editor and co-author of 4 editions of “Pediatrics” textbooks and many manuals published by the department for students of medical universities, author of about 300 printed scientific articles in various publications.
Antoshkina Alla Mykolayivna

At the department, he is responsible for educational and methodological work in the 3rd year of the discipline “Pediatrics propaedeutics, including nursing practice, basic medical skills in the pediatric department” and for methodological support of the educational process in children’s endocrinology (in the 5th year).
Antoshkina A.M. graduated with honors from the pediatric faculty of Kyiv Medical Institute in 1979. She studied at the clinical residency at the Department of Pediatrics of the Faculty of Medicine in 1980-1984. For some time she worked as a pediatric endocrinologist, and since 1987 she has been working at the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets (assistant, since 2003 – associate professor).
In 1990, she defended her PhD thesis “Non-endocrine forms of growth retardation in children and adolescents (issues of pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment)”. Received the title of associate professor in 2005.
Field of scientific interests: issues of endocrine pathology in children, especially growth pathology; the state of health of children living in radiation-contaminated territories; undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome in children. Author of 110 scientific works, 5 textbooks, 8 manuals.
In practical health care, the following has been introduced: a method of diagnosing hyposomatotropinemia in children with growth retardation, a rehabilitation scheme for children with signs of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia.

Bondarenko N.Yu. in 1996 graduated from the Pediatric Faculty of the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University. She studied at an internship in 1996-1999, specializing in pediatric resuscitation and anesthesiology.
From 1999 to 2016, she worked in the neonatal intensive care unit, from 2016 in the department of nutrition problems and somatic diseases in young children of the State University “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Medical Academy of Ukraine”.
In 2008, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Features of early neonatal adaptation, metabolism, vitamin D3 and calcium homeostasis in newborns with chronic pyelonephritis in the mother (clinical-experimental study).” Since 2015 began working at the Department of Pediatrics of the NMU named after O.O. Vasyukova M.M. in 1979 she graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute. In 1985-1988, she studied at the Correspondence Postgraduate School of the PAS Research Institute. In 1988, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “The influence of the alimentary factor on the clinical and immunological features of acute intestinal infections in infants” under the supervision of prof. Ott V.D.
Since 1988, he has been working at the Department of Pediatrics; in 2013, she received the scientific title of associate professor.
Author of 200 printed works, including co-author of 10 textbooks (editions and reprints) in three languages. Participated in the translation of the English-language textbook “Fundamentals of Pediatrics according to Nelson” (2 volumes) into Ukrainian. He is the co-author of 17 manuals (issues and reissues in three languages), 1 invention and 4 patents for inventions, three information sheets and methodological recommendations, which were implemented in medical practice.
The field of academic interests is the issue of general pediatrics (including the issue of children’s infectious diseases), the specifics of the development of children with constitutional anomalies, diagnosis, treatment (including homeopathic treatment), rehabilitation of children of this group and those with undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia.
For 25 years (1995-2020), she was responsible for the scientific work of the department.
He also performs public duties. He is a member of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine. Prepared a number of materials and publications on the history of the Department of Pediatrics No. 1.

Lutai T.I. in 1972 she graduated with honors from the pediatric faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute.
In 1987, she defended her candidate’s thesis on the topic “Differential topical diagnosis of non-specific microbial-inflammatory diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract in children.”
