Sokolova Larysa Ivanivna – Doctor of Medical Science, Professor

 

Having finished three years of studying at Kharkiv Medical Institute, she continued studying at the medical faculty of Kyiv Medical Institute, which she graduated with honors in 1979.

She has the highest qualification grade on neurology. She also performs treatment and consultative work in specialized departments of Kiyv City Clinical Hospital № 4, and is a constant air ambulance service consultant at Ukrainian Ministry of Health.

She is a member of the NMU approbation board “The nervous diseases and psychiatry”, a member of the European Neurological Society, a head editor of the “Ukrainian neurological journal.” She is a head of the student’s scientific circle of the department. Sokolova L.I. is responsible executor of the planned scientific and research work of the department on the multiple sclerosis. She is also responsible for the preparation of medical materials and for teaching of English speaking students.

She is an author of over 160 scientific and methodical works; has inventor’s certificates and patents declarations. She is a co-author of the textbook “Nervous diseases”, guidelines of neurology for teachers and students, a collection of test questions and problems on nervous diseases for higher medical institutions.

Her scientific researchers are dedicated to the problems of diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis, viral and vascular effect on the nervous system. In 1998 she defended a doctoral dissertation on “Clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of the multiple sclerosis, current approaches to its diagnosis and treatment”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Illyash Tetyana Ivanivna

is a candidate of medical science (1979), an associate professor of a neurology department of a National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets (since 1993).

She graduated with honors Kyiv Medical Institute in 1972. For 12 years she has been responsible for the teaching and guiding work of the department. The main aspects of the scientific activity are vascular and demyelinating diseases.

She is an author of 95 scientific works, co-author of 3 textbooks and 10 study guides.

 

 

 

 

Prokopiv Mariya Myroslavivna

candidate of medical science (1989), an associate professor of a neurology department of a National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets (since 1999). A honored doctor of Ukraine.

In 1981 she graduated from Ivano-Frankivs’k Medical Institute. The main aspects of the scientific activity are vascular and demyelinating diseases of a brain.

She is an author of more than 60 scientific works, an inventor’s certificate, 14 declarative patents, and rationalization innovations, co-author of monographs, 2 textbooks and 5 guidelines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Turchyna Natalya Stepanivna

Associate professor, candidate of medical science

Treatment work – patient’s consultation in the neurology department of Aleksandr hospital

In 1985 she graduated from Kyiv medical institute.

From 1985 to 1987 she was studying at a postgraduate school, after graduation of which became a neurologist at the department of neurology in Kyiv Central City Clinical Hospital named after the Order of October Revolution. Since December 1987 to December 1991 she was working as a senior laboratory assistant at the laboratory on problems of a multiple sclerosis at a scientific and research laboratory center of Kyiv Medical Institute. In 1991 on a competitive basis she was chosen as a laboratory assistant and in May 2004 as an associate professor of the neurology department, where she works till the present day.

In 1993 she defended a candidate’s dissertation on “Clinical and genealogical analysis of some risk factors in multiple sclerosis” on the occupation 14.01.15 – “Nervous Diseases”. She is an author of 45 scientific works and 5 patents declarations for the invention. The experience in teaching and guiding work is 19 years. Science topics for the last period are vascular diseases of the nervous system and viral infection.

She is a is a doctor of the highest qualification grade, who in full measure performs consultative and treatment works at the cerebrovascular diseases department of Aleksandr Clinical Hospital, consult the patients of other departments, holds consultative reception of patients at the clinic of Alexander Clinical Hospital, consults the patients behind the air medical service.

Over the last 12 years she is performing a social work – she is working as a scientific secretary of the scientific council of the medical faculty №2 of the National Medical University. She was awarded a letter of acknowledgment by the mayor and diploma by the Ukrainian Ministry of Public Health.

 

Krylova Viktoriya Yurievna

associate professor, candidate of medical science

Consultative work – patient’s consultation in the neurology department of Aleksandr Clinical Hospital.

In 1981 she graduated from the pediatric department of Kyiv Medical Institute, studied at an internship on the occupation of “pediatrics” at Zhtomyr regional clinical hospital. She worked as a district pediatrician and from 1985 to 1989 as a hospital physician of the neurology department at Zhytomyr regional children’s hospital.

From 1989 to 1991 she studied at clinical residency and from 1991 to 1994 at a full-time postgraduate study at the department of children’s psychoneurology of Kyiv institute for doctor’s advanced training.

In 1994 she defended a candidate’s dissertation on “Clinical and biochemical study of antioxidants application in the complex treatment of epilepsy in children.” In the same year on a competitive basis she was chosen as an assistant of the neurology department of the National Medical University and from 2005 she became an associate professor of the neurology department at the same institution.

She is an author of more than 50 scientific works, two patents declarations, two rationalization proposals, a co-author of the textbooks “Neurology” (2008), “Neurology” in Russian (2010), three teaching materials for foreign students of an English learning system.

From 2004 Kyrylova V.Y. is a vice dean for foreign students. She is responsible for the teaching of foreign students at the department. At the site of Aleksandr Clinical Hospital she examines the patients admitted to hospitalizing to the neurological department for urgent indicants and watches the patients who receive medical treatment. She is also a consultant of a flying doctor service by Ukrainian Ministry of Public Health.

Scientific interests – epilepsy, vascular diseases.

 

 

 

 

Dovbonos Tetyana Anatoliivna

is a candidate of medical science (2002), associate professor of neurology department of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets (since 2002) from which she graduated with honors in 1998.

The main research areas are: vascular diseases of a nervous system.

She is an author of more than 20 scientific works, one guideline, a co-author of a monograph and patents declarations.

 

 

 

 

 

Volodymyr S. Melnyk

10.08.1976, MD, PhD, DSc, Professor, Dean of Medical Faculti №1, Professor department of neurology.

Graduated from Vinnitsa State Medical University in 2000. In 2001-2002 studied at the internship and from 2002 to 2004 at the clinical residency at the nervous diseases department of Bogomolets NMU.

He is a winner of the 1 st prize “Intellegence of youth at capital service” in 2005 in the category “”New methods of treatment of common diseases”. New aspects of improvement of sanitary and epidemiological situation in the city. New foods. The latest biotechnologies”.

Zavodnova Zinaida Ivanivna

Assistant professor, candidate of medical science

treatment work at the neurology department №2 a Central City Clinical Hospital № 4.

She graduated with honors from Lviv State Medical Institute in 1971.

After graduation of an internship on neurology she worked at the neurology department of Lviv state hospital and sometime later worked as a head of the department and the chief neurologist of Lviv railway. In 1981 she graduated from an extramural postgraduate school and defended a dissertation on “Study of the lumbosacral radiculitis of railway workers”. Since 1995 he has been working as a neurology department assistant of NMY named after O.O. Bogomolets. She is an author of 15 publications.

 

 

 

 

 

Panteleenko Larysa Vasylivna

is a candidate of medical science, associate professor of the neurology department of a NMU named after O.O. Bogomolets (since 2012). She graduated with honor from the NMU in 1997. Having graduated an internship she worked as a neurologist in clinical hospitals of Kyiv and some time later as a chief doctor of LLC “Vascular safety”. The main research areas are: vascular diseases of a nervous system.

She is an author of more than 20 scientific works, useful model patent, a co-author of a monograph.

 

 

 

 

 

Gudzenko Ganna Volodymirivna

is a teaching assistant of neurology department of NMU named after O.O. Bogomolets from which she graduated in 2002. In 2004 – 2006 she studied at the clinical residency at the site of physiology and pathology department of the extrapyramidal nervous system of the Gerontology Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sciences. Sometime later she worked as a neurologist at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 18 and at the “Republican Clinical Hospital of Ukrainian Ministry of Public Health.” The main research areas are: demyelinating diseases of a nervous system.

She is an author of 27 scientific works, 1 patent for invention.

Antonenko Katerya Voldymyrivna

PhD (2014), Associate Professor (2017) of the National Bogomolets Medical University, which graduated with honours in 2009.

Author and co-author of more than 65 scientific works, 1 patent, 2 information lists and 2 methodological recommendations. Her main research directions are devoted to the cerebral vascular diseases. She takes active work in the Ukrainian and European Neurological Conferences, advanced her knowledge by training in Austrian and Italian Hospitals. She speaks fluently English and German languages. She carries out the treatment and consultation work in the Olexander Clinical Hospital.

 

 

 

 

Rogoza Svitlana Volodymirivna

is a teaching assistant of neurology department of NMU named after O.O. Bogomolets from which she graduated in 2004. From 2004 to 2007 she studied at the clinical residency. The main research areas are: vascular diseases of a nervous system.

Радзіховська Наталія Станіславівна

Науковий ступінь – кандидат медичних наук

Вчене звання – асистент кафедри неврології Національного медичного університету імені О.О. Богомольця.

Закінчила Національний медичний університет імені О.О. Богомольця в 2001 році. З 2001 по 2002 р. навчалася в інтернатурі за фахом «нервові хвороби» в НМУ імені О.О. Богомольця. З 2002 по 2017 рік працювала лікарем-неврологом ІІ неврологічного відділення КМКЛ № 4. З 2012 по 2016 рр. навчалася в заочній аспірантурі за фахом «неврологія». Виконана кандидатська дисертація на тему «Сексуальна дисфункція у хворих на розсіяний склероз, залежність від перебігу захворювання та лікування». Основні напрямки наукової діяльності: демієлінізуючі захворювання нервової системи. З 2013 року по теперішній час працює на посаді асистента кафедри неврології Національного медичного університету імені О.О. Богомольця. Бере участь у вітчизняних та європейських неврологічних конференціях. Автор та співавтор 19 наукових праць. Лікар вищої кваліфікаційної категорії (з 2014 р.), в повному обсязі проводить лікувально-консультативну роботу на базі КМКЛ №4.

Potapova Kateryna Pavlivna

 

In 2016 graduated with honourBogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine Medical faculty. In 2018 graduated  neurology fellowship.

Practical medical experience: 2.5 years worked as a neurologist in the emergency care unit and neurology department at the multidisciplinary hospital. Then she continued her work with patients in a specialized center for the study of multiple sclerosis. Continues the practice of a neurologist. Visiting hospitals abroad, working with doctors from different countries. Has 2 posters in the 13th world congress on controversies in neurology, Madrid, Spain April 4-7, 2019 and the 12th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy), Warsaw, Poland on March 22-25, 2018.
