Has been woiking at the Bogomolets National Medical University. Department of Neurology, since 1983. where she has gone from being a senior laboratory assistant to a professor of the department.

The main directions of scientific activity are vascular diseases of the brain and the organization of care for patients with cerebrovascular diseases.

Author and co-author of more than 200 scientific and methodical works, co-author of 3 monographs. 2 textbooks, a study guide. 7 methodological recommendations. 2 collections of test questions and clinical test in neurology. 28 declaratory patents of Ukraine. 4 innovations, in particular. Google Scholar Citations rate – 565. h-index -11. ilO-index – 11. Scopus -1.

She lias been a keynote speaker at a large number of Ukrainian and international scientific and practical conferences, symposiums and congresses. She lectures and conducts practical classes on neurology to students of all faculties of the 4th and 6th years. interns.

Prokopiv M.M. is responsible for medical work at the department as well as medical and advisory work at the neurology departments and polyclinics of the Oleksandrivska clinical hospital. She is a consultant of the medical aviation service at Ministry of Health of Ukraine. From 2015 to 2022 she worked as the chief neurologist and leading expert of Department of Health. Kyiv Municipal State Administration President of the Kyiv Association of Neurologists and a member of two multidisciplinaiy woiking groups on the industry standards of medical care development at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Consultant on medical care for patients with acute cerebral stroke of the USAID Project “Supporting Health Care Reform”, consultant of the Main Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination at the Mini shy of Health of Ukraine.

 

 

 

 

 

Sokolova Larysa Ivanivna

having finished three years of studying at Kharkiv Medical Institute, she continued studying at the medical faculty of Kyiv Medical Institute, which she graduated with honors in 1979.

She has the highest qualification grade on neurology. She also performs treatment and consultative work in specialized departments of Kiyv City Clinical Hospital № 4, and is a constant air ambulance service consultant at Ukrainian Ministry of Health.

She is a Deputy chairman of the specialized scientific council for awarding the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences of NMU, a member of the European Neurological Society, a chairman of the editorial board of the “Ukrainian neurological journal.” Sokolova L.I. is responsible executor of the planned scientific and research work of the department on the multiple sclerosis, the Chairman of the advisory and expert group “Neurology. Medicinal Products” for the development of the State Formulary of Medicinal Products, the head of the group of experts and specialists involved in the work of the Permanent Working Group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on issues of profile support for purchases in the direction of “Medicines for children with cerebral palsy”, “Medicines for the treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis”

She is an author of over 300 scientific and methodical works; has inventor’s certificates and patents declarations. She is a co-author of the textbook “Nervous diseases”, guidelines of neurology for teachers and students, a collection of test questions and problems on nervous diseases for higher medical institutions.

Her scientific researchers are dedicated to the problems of diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis, viral and vascular effect on the nervous system. In 1998 she defended a doctoral dissertation on “Clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of the multiple sclerosis, current approaches to its diagnosis and treatment”.

Cherenko Tetiana Makarivna

Scientific research is devoted to topical issues of vascular pathology, brain injury, neuroimmunopathology.

In 1979, she graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute named after Acad. O.O. Bogomolets, majoring in “medical affairs”. After completing her clinical residency in the specialty “nervous diseases” at the Research Institute of Gerontology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (1979-1983), she worked as a junior researcher, researcher and senior researcher in the neuroimmunology laboratory of the Institute of Neurosurgery named after Acad. A.P. Romadanov (1983-1993). In 1989, she defended her PhD thesis “Sensitization to neurospecific proteins in patients with TBI”.

Since 1993 – an assistant, since 2003 – an associate professor of the Department of Neurology of O.O. NMU. Bogomolets In 2008, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Clinical-pathogenetic substantiation of the correction of inflammatory-neuroimmune disorders in patients with ischemic stroke.” In 2015, she received the academic title of “professor”.

The author and co-author of more than 150 scientific works, including monographs and 12 declaratory patents, has numerous reports at national and international scientific and practical conferences and congresses. She educated 2 candidates of medical sciences and doctor of medical sciences.

Co-author of the textbook “Nervous Diseases”, “Neurology”, methodical recommendations and manuals on nervous diseases for teachers and students, a guide to the collection of test questions and problems on nervous diseases for higher medical institutions, educational programs, in particular on the specialty “Physical Therapy. Occupational therapy”

The department conducts the entire scope of educational and pedagogical work with students of the 4th and 6th years. She is certified and teaches neurology to English-language students. Responsible for the training of doctors – interns in the specialty of neurology.

Cherenko T.M. – a doctor of the highest category, carries out treatment and consulting work in neurological departments of clinical hospitals on the bases of the department and in medical centers of the city of Kyiv, a permanent consultant of the sanitary aviation service at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

From 2015 to 2018, he was the vice-rector for scientific work of O.O. Bogomoletsa, member of the Academic Council of the University. International expert of external audit of specialized accreditation of educational programs. Member of the Ministry of Health attestation commission for neurology. Illiash Tetiana Ivanivna

Academic degree – a candidate of medical science.

The position is associate professor of the Department of Neurology at the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets (since 1993).

She has been working at the department since 1972 (a senior laboratory technician, an assistant, an associate professor) after graduating with honors Kyiv Medical Institute. For a long time she was responsible for teaching and guiding work in the department.

She is a lecturer and teaches courses to students and interns from the specialty “Neurology”. She is the author of 129 scientific works and study guides, the co-author of 4 textbooks, 7 instructions for teachers and students, a number of training manuals and collections of test tasks for students.

She has the highest qualification grade on neurology. She conducts medical and advisory work in the department of neurology of the Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital. Tetiana Ivanivna is a consultant of the sanitary aviation service at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. She is a member of the approbation council of Nervous Diseases and Psychiatry in the Medical University, a member of the Scientific Council of the Medical Faculty No.1, a member of the cyclic methodical commission for therapeutic disciplines of the University. Krylova Victoria Uryivna.

Research fields of interest – epilepsy, vascular and autoimmune diseases.

In 1981, she graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute and studied at an internship in the specialty “of pediatrics” at the regional clinical hospital in Zhytomyr. She worked as a district pediatrician, and from 1985 to 1989 – as a neurologist in the neurological department of the children’s regional hospital in Zhytomyr.

From 1989 to 1991, she studied at a clinical residency, and from 1991 to 1994, at a full-time post-graduate course at the Department of Child Psychoneurology of the Kyiv Institute for the Advancement of Doctors.

In 1994, she defended her candidate’s thesis “Clinical and biochemical substantiation of the use of antioxidants in the comprehensive therapy of epilepsy in children.”

In the same year, she was selected by competition for the position of assistant at the Department of Nervous Diseases of Bogomolets National Medical University, and since 2005 she has held the position of associate professor of the Neurology Department at the same educational institution. From 2004 to 2014, she worked as a Vice-Dean in the Faculty for training foreign citizens.

Krylova Victoria is an author of more than 80 scientific works, two declaratory patents, and two innovative proposals, and has a citation index of 3.0 in the scientific metric database Google Scholar (profile in Google Scholar). She has numerous reports at Ukrainian and International scientific and practical conferences and is a co-author of the textbooks “Neurology” (2008), “Neurology with neurostomatology” (2018), “Neurology” in the Russian language (2010), “Neurology” (2012) and “Neurology: Clinical Cases” (2016) in English and methodological recommendations for foreign students of the English-language education system. Prepared a working study program in neurology for students of the pediatric faculty.

Krylova Victoria teaches neurology to English-speaking students of the 4th-year of medical and dental faculties, 6th-year of medical faculty, and Ukrainian students of all faculties and is a lecturer of 4th-year students of English- and Ukrainian-language education system and is responsible for the organization of foreign students studying process at the Neurology department.

Krylova Victoria – a doctor with the highest category, provides treatment and consulting work in the neurological department of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 3 and other clinical hospitals on the bases of the Neurology department, and is a consultant of the medical aviation service at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Dovbonos Tetiana Anatoliivna 

Academic degree – PhD (candidate of medical sciences)

Academic title – associate professor.

In 1998, she graduated with honors from the Medical Faculty No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University. On the basis of the Department of Neurology of NMU, she studied at the master’s degree (1998-1999), and clinical residency (1999-2001). In 2017, T.A. Dovbonos has got the training course “Leading edge neurology for the practicing clinician” at the Institute of Neurology (London University College).

During 2001-2013 T.Dovbonos  worked as an assistant, and since 2013 she has been an associate professor of the Department of Neurology of NMU. In 2003, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Hemorrhagic transformation of brain infarction: clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment”.

A doctor of the highest category.

Her scientific studies are devoted to vascular and autoimmune diseases of the nervous system. She is author and co-author of more than 50 printed works, including 1 in an edition included in the Scopus scientific metric database, chapters in monographs, methodological recommendations and a declaratory patent for an invention. She has numerous reports at national and international scientific and practical conferences and congresses. Hirsch index in the Scopus scientific metric database – 0, Google Scholar – 4. Dovbonos T.A. was a reviewer of 5 candidate theses.

She conducts practical classes in neurology and gives lectures to Ukrainian and foreign students (including English-speaking students) of the 4th and 6th year. She is certified for teaching neurology in English (level B2). In 2013-2014 was nominated by NMU students for the “Best Teacher of the Year” contest. In 2016, she was awarded an honorary diploma of the Scientific Council of the O.O. Bogomolets National University of Ukraine.

T.Dovbonos is responsible for the organization of educational and methodological work of the department for the students of the Faculty of Medicine No. 1. She is also responsible executor of the scientific topic of the department, secretary of annual scientific and practical conferences of the Department of Neurolog. Dr. Larysa Vasylivna Panteleienko

Associate Professor

Dr. Larysa Panteleienko is Associate Professor of Neurology Department of Bogomolets National Medical University, where she combines teaching medical and dentistry students of 4th and 6th years, consulting Neurology Department of City Hospital #3, and clinical research. Her research interests lie in the area of acute stroke care, quality of life after stroke, cerebral small vessel disease, and stroke rehabilitation (45 scientific publications). Citation Index: Google Scholar-4, WoS-2. Co-author of “Neurology Clinical Cases” (2016) and co-editor of “Neurology” (2017) textbooks (both published in English). Translated the Neurology chapter of “Davidson’s Principles and Practice of Medicine” into Ukrainian.

Dr. Panteleienko is a Doctor of Highest Category with more than 25 years of clinical experience. Prior to joining Bogomolets University in 2012, she was Chief Physician and Head of Neurology in “AngioSafety Clinic” (Kyiv, Ukraine) and neurologist in Neurology departments at various Kyiv city hospitals.

Dr. Panteleienko is a Ph.D. in Neurology from Bogomolets National Medical University (2010). The topic of her thesis is “Peculiarities of the clinical course and quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke in acute and early recovery period, depending on different methods of treatment”. She also received Master’s Degree (1998, thesis “Peculiarities of the clinical course of subarachnoid haemorrhage in different age groups”). She completed Clinical Fellowship in Neurology in 2000 and Neurology Internship in 1998. She graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 1997. Dr. Panteleienko successfully passed United States Medical Licensing Examination (2005).

Dr. Panteleienko attended multiple clinical teaching courses: Salzburg Weill Cornell Seminar in Neurology (Salzburg, 2010, 2019), Leading Edge Neurology for the Practicing Clinician (London, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2021), Neurological Infectious Diseases Course (Liverpool, 2017, 2021, 2022), etc. She made clinical observership in Stroke Unit of Mount Sinai Hospital (New York, USA, 2005) and Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, USA, 2019). Antonenko Kateryna Volodymyrivna

academic title – Associate Professor of the Neurology Department of the Bogomolets National Medical University (since 2017).

She graduated with honors from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2009.

From 2009 to 2011 studied at the clinical residency and master’s program at the Neurology Department of the Bogomolets National Medical University, and since 2011 – in full-time postgraduate studies in the specialty “Nervous diseases”.

In 2014, she finished her PhD work on the topic: Risk factors, clinical features and outcomes of ischemic strokes in posterior circulation.

Since December 2012 – Assistant Professor of the Department of Neurology, and since May 2017 – Associate Professor of the Department of Neurology at the Bogomolets National Medical University.

She teaches Neurology to 4th year students of medical and stomatological faculties, and a course in neurology within the cycle “Internal Medicine with Infectious Diseases” to 6th year students of the medical faculty of both Ukrainian and English-language education.

She is a doctor of the highest qualification category. The main areas of scientific activity are devoted to vascular diseases of the brain.

Author and co-author of more than 65 scientific papers, 1 patent for invention, 2 information letters and 2 methodological recommendations. Symonenko Hryhorii Gennadievich

Graduated from the O.O.Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute in 1986. From 1986 to 1989 he worked as a doctor in practical health care institutions in Kyiv. From 1989 to 2000 he worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Phthisiology and Pulmonology. In 1993 he was elected as an assistant, and in 2015 – to the post of associate professor of the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine. In 2016 he was transferred to the post of Associate Professor of the Department of Neurology of NMU. He has 115 printed works in domestic (109) and foreign (6) publications, 15 patents of Ukraine, participated in the creation of 8 manuals. In 2020 he received a certificate of English language B2 level proficiency. His responsibilities on the Department: material support, base of the Department in Kyiv Clinical City Hospital N6, performs the duties of the Curator of the Dental Faculty.

 

 

 

 

Svystilnyk Viktoriia Olexandrivna

Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

Svystilnyk V. graduated from the pediatric faculty of Ukrainian State Medical University named after Bogomolets in 1993. After finished internship on Pediatric Neurology in 1997, she worked in Pediatric Neurology Department in Kyiv city pediatric hospital №1.

She had training in Klinik Kidron in Germany in 1999 and in Warsaw Medical University in Poland in 2016.

The thesis for competition of scientific degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in speciality 14.01.15 – Nervous diseases. – National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after Shupyk, Kyiv, 2007. The topic of the thesis is Role of cerebral metabolites ratio in the course of epilepsy and epileptic syndromes in children.

She worked on position of Assistant Professor in Pediatric Neurology Department and Medical and Social Rehabilitation of National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after Shupyk since 2007.

She worked on position of Associate Professor in Pediatric Neurology Department and Medical and Social Rehabilitation of National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after Shupyk since 2013.

Since 01.09.2022 – she is working on position of Associate Professor in Neurology Department of Bogomolets National Medical University. She is involved in teaching on Neurology with peculiarities of children’s age.

The clinical interest includes diagnostics and problem of treatment children with epilepsy, neurogenetic diseases and treatment patients suffered myopathies.

Yuliia Leonydyvna Heletiuk

Scientific degree – a Candidate of Medical Sciences.

The position is a professor assistant at the Neurology Department at Bogomolets National Medical University.

Graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2012. From 2012 to 2014 studied at an internship in the specialty “Neurology”. In 2014 obtained a master’s degree.

In 2019 defended a dissertation work for obtaining a scientific degree the Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Functional outcomes of ischemic stroke in patients with arterial hypertension, their prognosis and the reasoning for the differential directions of recovery therapy.”

Since 2012 worked at the Neurology Department of Bogomolets National Medical University in the position of a senior laboratory assistant, and since 2017 have been transferred to the position of teacher assistant.

Yuliia Heletiuk teaches neurology to students of the medical faculties in the 4th and 6th years in Ukrainian and English.

Also, Yuliia Heletiuk is responsible for the re-final control organization and operation of the distance learning platform LIKAR_NMU and the Automated Management System at the Neurology Department.

Performs medical and consulting work in the Neurology Department of the State Institution “Head medical center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine”.

Actively participates in national and international scientific and practical conferences. Scientific works are devoted to the problems of vascular diseases of the nervous system. The h-index is 3 in the Google Scholar scientometric database, and 0 in the Scopus scientometric database. Author and co-author of more than 25 scientific works, co-author of a patent for a Utility model, and a patent for an Invention.

 

 

 

 

Muravska Oleksandra Mykolayivna

 Academic degree – candidate of medical sciences.

The position is assistant of the professor.

In 1992, she graduated from Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute, Faculty of Medicine.

From 1992 to 1994, she studied at an internship in neurology at the 25th Clinical Hospital of Kyiv (Department of Neurology №1 of the Kyiv Institute for the Advancement of Doctors).

From 1994 to 2011, she worked as a neurologist in the department of cerebrovascular pathology, consulting polyclinic of the Central City Clinical Hospital of Kyiv.

From 2001 to 2003, she studied at a clinical residency at the Department of Nervous Diseases of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

2011-2022 – neurologist at “Klinika Medikom”.

2019-2021 – assistant professor of the neurology department of the Bogomolets National Medical University  (part-time).

In 2013, she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Clinical-instrumental characteristics of cardiogenic ischemic stroke caused by acute myocardial infarction.”

Since 2005, she has been a highly qualified neurologist.

Author of 14 articles, 4 theses and one monograph.

Mykhailichenko Maryna Oleksandrivna

Position – assistant and graduate student of the neurology department of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

Graduated from Luhansk State MedicalUniversity in 1996, program subject area “General medicine”, qualification – doctor of medicine. She completed the internship in the specialty “Neurology” in 1997, currently has a higher qualification category in the specialty “Neurology”. In 2013, she graduated from the postgraduate education center of the Donetsk State University of Management, program subject area “Management of organization and administration”, specialization “Management in health care”.

2014 to the present – works as the head of the neurological department at the Bogomolets University Clinic. The department is the clinical base of the neurology chair of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

The main area of scientific activity is vascular diseases of the nervous system. Also takes part as a participant in many medical conferences.

Kateryna Pavlyvna Potapova, MD

 

In 2016 graduated with honour Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2018 graduated  neurology fellowship. In 2019 has started her PhD work. In 2020 has started research fellow in Society for brain mapping and therapeutics (SBMT)

Practical medical experience: 6 years.

Areas of medical interest: multiply sclerosis, microbiome, NGS, AI and robotic technology in medicine, digital medicine and medical marketing.

To improve her knowledges and for continuing medical education she visits  hospitals abroad, works with doctors from different countries, helps with organization of international conferences and congress. She had organized international project for patients with epilepsy with Teknon medical center, Barcelona, Spain and Dr.Antonio Russi in 2019 and 2020. She has 3 posters in the international conferences. She presented her scientific works in the 18th Annual World Congress of SBMT, Los Angeles, USA on July 8-12, 2021, 13th World Congress on controversies in neurology, Madrid, Spain April 4-7, 2019, 12th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy), Warsaw, Poland on March 22-25, 2018.

Chair of Ukrainian Humanitarian Section and Award recipient on 20th Annual World Congress of SBMT, on 16-19th February, 2023, Los Angeles, USA.

 

 

 

Sholomon Svitlana Mikolaivna

Born in 1976. Graduated from Zaporizhzhia State Medical University in 2001, internship at NMU in 2001-2002.

Since 2002, she has been working at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 4, a doctor of the highest category. Since 2021, she has been an assistant at the Department of Neurology of NMU.

Since 2022 she has been studying for a postgraduate degree for a doctorate in philosophy.
