ZAYCHENKO Ganna Volodymyrivna

ZAYCHENKO Ganna Volodymyrivna – Doctor of Medical Sciences (2010), Professor of the Department of Pharmacology.
Education: graduated with honors from the Kharkiv Medical College of the Southern Railway (1985) and with honors from Kharkiv Medical Institute (KhMI), specializing in “General Medicine” (1991).
Professional Career: worked as a nurse in the neonatal unit of the maternity hospital of DKB Station Kharkiv (1985). She served as a trainee lecturer (1991–1992), assistant (1995), senior lecturer (1995–1997) at the Department of Pharmacology, doctoral student of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy (1998–2000), Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations (2000–2005), Associate Professor (2005–2010), and Professor of the Department of Pharmacology (since 2010). She was also a research associate at the State Pharmacological Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (1995–2005). Since 2011, she has been Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the Institute of Advanced Training for Pharmacy Specialists. Since 2016, she has held the position of Head of the Department of Pharmacology at Bogomolets National Medical University.
Research Interests: research focuses on the search and pharmacological study of tocolytic agents among phenylaminoalkanols, experimental substantiation for creating reproductive function correctors based on aminosugars and glycosaminoglycans, and studying the pharmacological activity of nanodrugs.
Scientific Achievements: author of over 160 scientific and educational-methodological works, including 3 monographs, 14 educational manuals (some in English), an atlas, an album, 2 reference books, selected lectures, and articles in the Pharmaceutical Encyclopedia (published in 2005 and 2010). She holds 8 patents, has developed 4 methodological recommendations approved by the State Pharmacological Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and has supervised the preparation of 8 PhD candidates in pharmaceutical sciences.

GORCHAKOVA Nadiya Oleksandrivna — Doctor of Medical Sciences (1987), Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology (since 1990) at the Bogomolets National Medical University. Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine (1986).
Education: Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute (1964).
Professional Activity: Graduate student (1964), Assistant (1967), Associate Professor (1986), Professor (since 1990) at the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology at the Bogomolets National Medical University. Total teaching experience: 50 years.
Research Interests: Biochemical, physicochemical pharmacology and the pharmacology of metabolites with broad-spectrum action.
Scientific Achievements: Author of about 1000 scientific and educational-methodical works, including 19 monographs, clinical pharmacy reviews, 34 patents, 18 textbooks, 26 study guides, 5 methodical recommendations approved by the Cycle Methodical Commission for Theoretical Disciplines. Hirsch Index (Scopus-1, Google Scholar-8). At the department, she lectures, including to English-speaking students (holds a B2 certificate), conducts practical classes at a high methodological and professional level, participates in methodological work, updates methodological developments for practical classes, lectures, and working educational processes for students and faculty, and has publications of an educational-methodical nature.
Public Activity: Worked in specialized councils of the Institute of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and the Bogomolets National Medical University in medical biochemistry. For 3 years, was an expert of the Higher Attestation Commission on issues of physical culture and sports. At Kyiv Medical Institute, for 10 years, was the head of the trade union bureau for employees of the pediatric faculty, and for 3 years, was an assistant to the rector. She is a member of the Academic Council of the Pharmaceutical Faculty, a member of the faculty’s labor collective, a member of the Cycle Methodical Commission for Theoretical Disciplines, a member of the dissertation councils in “Pharmacy” and “Medical and Biological Disciplines.” She is a member of the editorial board of 3 journals. At the Department of Pharmacology, she held the duties of the trade union organizer, head of the scientific student club, responsible for further professional education (FPE), responsible for the work of the supporting department, and responsible for scientific activities. She is the responsible executor and co-executor of scientific research at the department.

Education: Graduated with honors from Stavropol Medical Institute in 1980, specializing in “General Medicine.”
Professional Activity: After completing her internship at Clinical Hospital No. 23 in Kyiv in the specialty “Obstetrics and Gynecology,” she worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, and as a physician at the USSR Embassy in the Republic of Zambia.
Since 1986 – Junior Researcher at the Department of Pharmacology, Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute. In 1991, she defended her candidate dissertation in the specialty 14.03.05 – “Pharmacology” on the topic “Pharmacodynamics of glycosidic and non-glycosidic cardiotonics under conditions of altered energy homeostasis.” Since 1992, Assistant at the same department, and since 2004 – Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology at Bogomolets NMU.
Total teaching experience: 30 years.
Scientific Achievements: Author of 120 scientific works and 2 author certificates; co-author of 3 textbooks, 5 model curricula, and 6 educational-methodical manuals.
Public Activity: Actively participates in the public life of the department and the university. In 2017, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Scientific Council of NMU for many years of diligent and impeccable work, significant personal contribution to the development of medical education and science, high professionalism, active civic position, and on the occasion of the Day of Pharmaceutical Worker. She is a member of the Association of Pharmacologists of Ukraine.

Education: In 1991, he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bohomoltsia with a degree in General Medicine.
Professional Activity: 1992-1995: Postgraduate student at the Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Diseases No. 2 of the Ukrainian State Bogomolets Medical University. In 1995, he defended his candidate dissertation on the topic “Effectiveness of Cardiotonics in Combination with Enterosorbents in Circulatory Insufficiency (Clinical-Experimental Study)” in the specialty 14.00.06 “Cardiology”. From 1995 to 2003 and from 2008 to 2019: Assistant at the Department of Pharmacology, Bogomolets National Medical University.
