Tkachenko Mykhailo Mykolaiovych
Head of the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.
In 1981 he graduated from the first medical faculty of the Kiev Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets. He worked as a doctor-Intern in the therapeutic Department of the Kyiv Clinical Hospital № 23. In 1986-1989’s – post-graduate student at the Department of Physiology of Circulation of Institute of Physiology named after O.O. Bohomolets.
Doctoral thesis: “The role of endothelium in local vascular reactions under physiological and pathological conditions”.
Experience of scientific and pedagogical work is 33 years. Author and co-author of 525 scientific publications, including 47 in publications classified as Scopus scientific and metric database, 7 patents for utility model, 1 certificate of registration of copyright for a work. Reviewer of 14 scientific and educational publications. The Hirsch Index in the Scopus scientific database is 4; GoogleScholar scientific database – 11; and the index – 14. Has the highest qualification category in the specialty radionuclides diagnostics.

Tkachenko Mykhailo Mykolaiovych – laureate of the State Prizes of Ukraine in science and technology (1996, 2003), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (2009). In 2013, the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine was awarded the European Scientific and Industrial Chamber Diploma di Merito (diploma of quality, recognition), and Professor M.M. Tkachenko received the gold European Medal of B. Pascal “for fundamental contribution to radiology”.
Tanasichuk-Gazhyeva Natalia Volodymyrivna
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor
Graduated with honors from the Medical Faculty of the Donetsk Gorky State Medical Institute in 1980. From 1984 to 1987 she studied postgraduate studies at the Department of Medical Radiology of the O.O. Bogomolets Kiev Medical Institute.
In 1998 she defended her Doctoral thesis: “Integral characteristics of the state of the liver, pancreas, stomach with glomerulonephritis in children (clinical-ultrasonic and radionuclide studies)”. In 2003 she was awarded the academic title of professor. Has the highest qualification category in the specialty “X-ray diagnostics”.

Scientific interests are devoted to various issues of diagnostic radiology – computer and magnetic resonance imaging, radionuclide diagnostics, ultrasound in cardiology, hepatology, nephrology, pediatrics, etc.

Myronova Olena Valeriivna
Ph.D. Associate Professor.
Graduated from Voroshilovgrad Medical Institute in 1987.
– In 1992 she defended her PhD thesis:
“Beta-2 microglobulin is a radiological criterion for the activity of the leukemia process, the effectivity of treatment and prognosis.”
Has the highest qualification category in the specialty “radionuclides diagnostics”.
Scientific interests: in vitro diagnostics in oncology and oncohematology.

Morozova Nataliia Lvivna
Ph.D. Associate Professor.
Graduated with honors from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute in 1983. She graduated from clinical residence at the Kyiv Medical Institute with a degree in Radiology in 1989. In 1990 she defended her PhD thesis “X-ray and radionuclide diagnostics of the functional state of the digestive system in nonspecific colitis”. Has the highest qualification category in the specialty “X-ray diagnostics”.
The main directions of scientific and practical work are radiation diagnostics of diseases of the digestive system, respiratory system, radiation diagnostics in pediatrics, organization of radiation diagnostics service in Ukraine, organizational and methodological support for radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy, organization of postgraduate education in radiology.
She works on the clinical basis of the department – in the X-ray department of the Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital of Kyiv, where the implementation of scientific developments of the department in the practice of health care is carried out.

Popereka Galyna Mykhailivna
Ph.D., Associate Professor.
Graduated with honors from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute in 1986.
She graduated from clinical residence at the Kyiv Medical Institute with a degree in Internal Diseases in 1990. In 1990 she defended her PhD thesis “Effect of various treatments on the content of Helicobacter pylori in patients with stomach and duodenal ulcers “. Has the highest qualification category in the specialty “Therapy”.
The main directions of scientific and practical work are radiation medicine, therapy, radiology. Author of 90 printed works, programs, methodological developments, inventions in radiation medicine.

Romanenko Ganna Oleksandrivna
Ph.D., Associate Professor.
Graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 1997.
In 1997-1998 she took an internship specializing in radiology at the Department of Radiology of the Shupyk NMAPE at Kyiv City Oncology Hospital. During 1998-2001 studied in clinical residency at the department of radiology of the NMAPE Shupyk. She defended her thesis “Comprehensive radionuclide assessment of kidney and urinary tract morphofunctional status in bladder-urinary reflux” (2012).
Since 2014 she has been working as an associate professor of the department. In 2016, she received the title of associate professor.
Romanenko G.O. is a specialist in radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy, has the highest category in radionuclide diagnostics, the second in radiation therapy. She advises patients in the department of radionuclide diagnostics KMCH # 14 and specializes in radionuclide diagnostics.
The scientific – educational experience of work is 19 years, the total experience – 23 years. Responsible at the department for medical and diagnostic work, FPC, head of the student scientific circle, pro-union, member of the examination board of doctors – interns, member of the trade union university.
She has 64 scientific publications, 1 patent. She participated in the development of training disks on radiation diagnostics and therapy according to the curriculum of the credit-modular system. Co-author of the textbook “Radiology (radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy)” for students of dental faculties of higher educational institutions and test tasks “Radiology (radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy”, workshop “Radiology”. Horot Iryna Vasylivna
Ph.D., Associate Professor.
Graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2006. She graduated from clinical residence at the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2010. She has the highest qualification medical category in the specialty “Radiation therapy”.
In 2013, she trained in brachytherapy at the National Cancer Institute, in 2014 – at the Sana Clinic (Offenbach, Germany). Defended her thesis: “Features of the ultrastructural organization and metabolism of reactive forms of oxygen and nitrogen in the cardiovascular system under the constant action of low doses of radiation” in the specialty 03.00.01 – radiobiology. Scientific interests: radiology, radiation diagnostics, radiation therapy, oncology, brachytherapy.

Cherkasova Liubov Anatoliivna
Ph.D., Associate Professor.
Graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2008. She graduated from clinical residence at the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2012, defended her thesis: “Features of sonographic indicators of the uterus and ovaries in different phases of the menstrual cycle in healthy girls of different constitutional types”. Has the first qualification category in the specialty “Ultrasound diagnostics”.
The main directions of scientific and practical work are “Features of radiation diagnosis of SARS- CoV-2 associated lung lesions during the COVID-19 pandemic”.
