Diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative work in X-ray radiology, radionuclide diagnostics, ultrasound diagnostics, CT, MRI, and radiation therapy is carried out at the department’s bases. Employees of the “Radiation Medicine” cycle provide consultative work at the State Institution “National Research Center for Radiation Medicine” in the departments of radio-induced somatic pathology, cardiology, radiation pulmonology, therapy of radiation consequences, radiation oncohematology and stem cell transplantation, and radiation psychoneurology of the Institute of Clinical Radiology.
Of the 8 full-time employees of the department, 7 have the highest medical category and 1 has the first category.
Active work is being carried out to improve clinical and professional skills. All department employees have valid category certificates. They actively participate in conferences, master classes, and scientific-practical events in Ukraine and abroad.
