The Department of Medical Psychology, Psychosomatic Medicine, and Psychotherapy focuses on providing high-quality education and methodological support for students, interns, and practicing specialists. The department’s activities include developing modern educational programs, creating teaching materials, and ensuring the effective training of future professionals.

 

Educational and Methodological Work

Development of Curricula and Programs:

  • Creation and regular updating of curricula to meet current standards and demands of medical and psychological education.
  • Integration of interdisciplinary approaches that combine medical, psychological, and psychosomatic aspects of patient care.

 

Teaching Activities:

  • Delivery of lectures, practical classes, and seminars for students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychological Health and other related disciplines.
  • Use of interactive teaching methods, including case studies, simulations, and group discussions, to enhance learning outcomes.

 

Training of Specialists:

  • Training medical psychologists and medical specialists capable of diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, stress-related disorders, and psychosomatic illnesses.
  • Providing advanced training for healthcare professionals through postgraduate education programs.

 

Educational Materials:

  • Development and publication of textbooks, methodological guidelines, and electronic resources for both students and faculty members.
  • Translation and adaptation of international educational resources into Ukrainian.
