2024
In the period from May 27 to June 27, 2024, the assistant of the department Veronika Provorova underwent an internship at the Medical University of Warsaw (Poland) at the Department of Organic and Physical Chemistry under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Piotr Lulinski.
On May 20-25, 2024, Associate Professor Violetta Narokha completed a practical training at the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Pharmaceutical Care and attended the University quality culture day conference at the Medical University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Republic of Poland as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program. The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the practice in the field of pharmacotherapy and pharmaceutical care of the European Union member state, exchange of experience in teaching professional disciplines, expansion of professional ties and review of opportunities for future cooperation within the framework of research and grant programs.
On April 21-27, 2024, 5th year students Olga Ivzhenko (supervisor – Vrynchanu N.O.) and Ushakova Sofia (supervisor – Burmaka O.V.) took part in the program of international cooperation in the specialty 226 “Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy” and presented poster presentations

On May 3, 2021, Professor I.V. Nizhenkovska presented an oral report in English on the topic: “Development of pharmacy students’ information competence in a biological chemistry course” prepared in co-authorship with Associate Professor O.V. Kuznetsova and Associate Professor V.P. On November 15, 2019 at the 10th International Pharmaceutical Conference “Science and Practice” at the 10th International Pharmaceutical Conference “Science and Practice”, an employee of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Narokha V.P., presented an oral report on the results of scientific work of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Biological and Toxicological Chemistry of Bogomolets NMU on the topic “New approaches to prevent toxic effects of chemotherapy” (authors: Prof. I.V. Nizhenkovska, Assoc. Prof. V.P. Narokha).
On September 22-26, 2019, the 79th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the International Pharmaceutical Federation was held in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the main topic of which was “New horizons for pharmacy – navigating the wind of change”. The Congress was attended by 2522 delegates (pharmacists, scientists, regulators and other stakeholders) from 114 countries.
The congress was attended by the assistant of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Biological and Toxicological Chemistry of the Bogomolets National Medical University Kateryna Matskevych, who presented a poster report on the topic “Influence of new original compounds with antihypertensive and cardioprotective properties on the fatty acid profile of lipids in rat myocardium and aorta”, prepared in co-authorship with the supervisor Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Nizhenkovska I.V. and Associate Professor of the Department, Ph.D. Narokha V.P., which aroused great interest of the participants of the congress. In addition, Kateryna took part in the work of the FIP Young Pharmacists Group, as well as in meetings as part of the Ukrainian delegation to the FIP, represented by the NGO “All-Ukrainian Chamber of Pharmaceuticals”, where the issue of holding FIP in Ukraine in 2022 was discussed.
On August 23-27, 2019, the 10th International Conference “Education, Research & Development” was held in Burgas (Bulgaria) under the chairmanship of the famous scientist, Professor Ivan Genov (Bulgaria) with the support of the Foundation for Science and Education of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Union of Scientists of Bulgaria.
Ukraine was represented by Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Biological and Toxicological Chemistry of the National Medical University. O.O. Bogomolets, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Olena Vasylivna Welchynska with a poster report “Study of medical poisons in forensic chemistry“. As a result of the conference, the participants received international certificates and published articles in a scientific journal.
On July 1-5, 2019, the 21st International Conference of International Scientific Events was held in Burgas (Bulgaria), where the staff of the department took part in the Materials, Methods & Technologies section: MD, Professor Nizhenkovska I.V., Associate Professor, Ph.D. Kuznetsova O.V. and assistant Matskevych K.V. The conference was organized by scientific organizations from Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Greece and Belarus, including the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. Scientific reports from 23 countries of the world are presented. Topical issues of nanotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry and ecology were considered. The poster section was attended by the assistant of the department Kateryna Matskevych, who presented a report on the topic “Investigation of the effect of a new original antihypertensive compound on the phosphodiesterase activity in aorta, myocardium and blood serum of rats with arterial hypertension».
From May 15 to May 17, 2019 at the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland) at the 25th annual international conference held by the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy (EAFP, European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy) entitled “Creative education; towards competences in a patient-oriented pharmacy education” staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy: Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor I.V. Nizhenkovska, Ph.D., Associate Professor V.P. Narokha. and Ph.D., Associate Professor Kuznetsova O.V. presented oral and poster reports on the results of the educational work of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Biological and Toxicological Chemistry of Bogomolets NMU on the topic “Interdisciplinary integration of chemical knowledge as a factor of professional competence in the future masters of Pharmacy”.
May 10-11, 2019 prof. I.V. Nizhenkovska and as. L.V. Onyshchuk took part in the international conference in Lublin (Poland) MEDICINE UNDER THE MODERN CONDITIONS OF INTEGRATION DEVELOPMENT OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES with the report “Study of the Staphylococcus aureus biofilms susceptibility to the effect of a new complex drug”

On September 2-6, 2018, the 78th World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) was held in Glasgow (Scotland), the main topic of which was “Pharmacy: transforming the outcomes”, where the poster report “Studies of the efficacy and safety of a new compound – 1,3-oxazole-4-il-phosphonic acid derivative” was presented(Professor Nizhenkovska I.V., Assoc. Prof. Sedko K.V., Kuksa I.), which aroused great interest of the participants of the congress. In addition, Ihor Kuksa became a member of the FIP Young Pharmacists Group, and also took part in a meeting of the Ukrainian delegation to the FIP, represented by the NGO “All-Ukrainian Chamber of Pharmaceuticals”, where the issue of holding FIP in Ukraine in 2022 was discussed.

From January 24 to May 16, 2023, Professor I.V. Nizhenkovska completed an internship at the Radbod University Medical Center (Nijmegen, the Netherlands).
On April 3-May 15, 2023, Associate Professor V.P. Narokha completed an international internship at the University of Collegium Civitas (Warsaw, Republic of Poland) “Internationalization of Education. New and innovative teaching methods. Implementation of International Educational Projects in the Financial Perspective of the EU” (180 hours)
