Bogomolets NMU is holding a conference on the significant medical postgraduate and undergraduate education on the 14th of October, 2024
We invite all those interested in issues of medical education to participate in the English Section of the Conference. The Conference is held in Ukrainian and English languages.
Themes within the English-language section:
1. Innovative teaching methods in postgraduate and undergraduate medical education.2. Professional growth of medical teachers.3. The future of medical education.4. Medical education under the wartime: challenges and changes.5.Teaching critical care and military medicine: further opportunities.6. Teaching simulation medicine. 7. AI and medical education.
Online and offline. Regarding the war conditions in Ukraine, we recommend online participation for the foreign guests.
Conference Program: Discussions, presentations, online sessions.
Participation Options: 1. Oral presentation; 2. Publication of abstracts; 3. Publication of an article in Bogomolets NMU journal: “Medicine and pharmacy: educational discourse”.

Abstract requirements:
2-4 pages, all margins 2 cm, paragraph indents 1.25 cm, line spacing 1.5, font Times New Roman, 14. Figures should be placed within the text, with text wrapping above and below, aligned to the center. Number the figures in italics and size 12 font and provide a title and description (if necessary), centered. For tables, indicate the numbering in italics and size 12 font and provide a title, centered. Font size in tables – 12, spacing – 1. References in the text should be in square brackets. The citation APA style is preferred.
Abstract Structure (Times New Roman 14):
1. Author’s full name, in bold, aligned to the right.2. Academic degree and title, position, organization, country, in italics, aligned to the right.3.Title of the abstract in bold, all capital letters, centered.4.Main text.5.References ( APA style, the list is by order of mentioning)
Article requirements (Times New Roman 14);
The article should be formatted in Word for Windows (font Times New Roman 14, line spacing 1.5). Margins: top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right – 1.5 cm. Paragraph indent – 1.25 cm. The length of the text is 10-16 pages.
Article structure:
1..Article title.2. Full names of the authors.3.Academic degree and title, position, organization, country.4.ORCID identifier (http://orcid.org/).5.Abstract and keywords in English, each abstract being at least 1800 characters.6.Main text of the article.7 Tables and illustrations numbered sequentially with Arabic numerals. Notes to tables are given only in the text. Illustrations are captioned below.8. Figures and photographs should be “embedded” in the main text of the article and additionally submitted as separate files.9. References. Formatted according to the APA Style Reference Citations.
Authors are fully responsible for the quality and content of their publications. ALL PAPERS ARE CHECKED FOR PLAGIARISM. The organizing committee reserves the right not to publish materials that do not meet the requirements of the conference, quality standards and academic integrity. Referencing the authors from russia and bielorus is not acceptable.
