Scientific topics of the department
The circle of scientific interests of the department’s employees covers the problems of visceropathies in nephrological pathology, lesions and the pathogenetic role of the central nervous system in patients with arterial hypertension and rheumatological pathology, the study of the effectiveness of non-drug treatment methods
Implementation of the GDR
From 2023, the department is conducting a new research project “Clinical-pathogenetic aspects and correction of melatonin-producing dysfunction of the pineal gland in patients with chronic kidney disease”

According to the results of scientific research, 229 scientific works have been published over the past 5 years, 10 inventions have been patented, and 126 reports have been made at scientific and scientific-practical forums in Ukraine and abroad.

The department annually (1-2 issues) publishes a collection of scientific works of NMU “Actual problems of nephrology”, which is included in the register of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
