International cooperation

The international activities of the department are focused on deepening cooperation with international structures, in particular, the National Organization of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) of the United States of America, NATO, WHO, Deutsche Gesellshaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The course “International Security and State Policy in the Field of Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine” was initiated in the development of cooperation, an open lecture was given by the Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine Barbora Maronkova for the students of NMU.  –  The staff of the department took an active part in other activities of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine.

Staff members have held a number of working meetings with emergency medicine specialists from the United States and representatives from Harvard University’s Faculty of Humanities.  During these workshops, new technologies used in the combat zone were discussed and the need to develop practical skills in providing domedical assistance to all sections of the population.

At the invitation of representatives of the Faculty of Humanities Initiatives, Harvard University, in November 2019, faculty and students of the department participated in an international practical conference “Organization of Security, Counteraction and Emergency Response in the East of Ukraine” in e Dnipro.  Algorithms for responding to the PCB threat were worked out and information was provided on the latest security technologies in the conflict zone in Ukraine.

 

  • Participation in international conferences of the department’s staff:

Anatoliy Grinzovsky is a member of the organizing committee of the scientific-practical conference with international participation “Ecological and hygienic problems of the sphere of human life”.

Participated in: IV International Medical Forum “Innovations in Medicine – Health of the Nation” Scientific and practical activities of the II International Medical Congress “Implementation of modern achievements of medical science in the practice of health care of Ukraine” April 16-19, 2013;  International Scientific and Practical Symposium “Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to European Union Health Law: Infection Control and Antimicrobial Resistance”, Kyiv, April 25-26, 2016;  International Congress “Formation of Competence with Preservation Public Health in Emergency Response Termas”, Wroclaw, 2018;  TAIEX Workshop on Risk Assessment and Management Associated with Toys, Kyiv 2-3 April 2018; Internationa Research and Practical Conference “The Development of Medical Sciences: Problems and Solutions”, Brno, 27-28.04.2019;  Training course “Accreditation of medical laboratories and ISO 15189”;  in the educational programs of the National Emergency Medical Technicians Organization (NAEMT) of the United States of America.

Participated in an internship for project 88 «Strengthening medical preparedness for CBRN threats and response opportunities in the countries of South-Eastern Europe» in Tbilisi (Georgia) in 2022.

Kalashchenko Svitlana Ihorivna attended: International Congress “Formation of Competence with Preservation Public Health in Emergency Response Termas”, Wroclaw;  in the educational programs of the National Emergency Medical Technicians Organization (NAEMT) of the United States of America.

Participated in an internship for project 88 «Strengthening medical preparedness for CBRN threats and response opportunities in the countries of South-Eastern Europe» in Tbilisi (Georgia) in 2022.

Boyko Yulia Nikolaevna took part: in the educational programs “PHTLS” and “TCCC-MP” of the National Organization of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) of the United States of America .;  In October 2018, she participated in a full-scale EU MODEX 2018 search and rescue module training in Bucharest.

Participated in an internship for project 88 «Strengthening medical preparedness for CBRN threats and response opportunities in the countries of South-Eastern Europe» in Tbilisi (Georgia) in 2022. 

  • Agreements, memorandums signed in 2019: The department received a letter of support from the NATO Information and Documentation Center (NATO Delegation to Ukraine) on conducting the elective course “International Security and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine”.
  • Internship of employees:

Grinzovsky A.M.  participation in internships within the Physician Education Program organized by the Association of French-Ukrainian Cooperation in Medicine and Pharmacy (ASFUDS) with the assistance of the World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Associations;  The internship took place at the clinical bases of Rene Descartes University and Dene Diderot University (France) in the summer of 2018 (from 07/27/2018 to 05/08/2018).
