Department of Endocrinology
International cooperation
Employees of the department take an active part in the work of international congresses on the study of diabetes and other endocrine pathologies.
Prof. Y.I. Komisarenko, associate professors G.P. Mikhalchyshyn, M.I. Bobryk are members of the International Association for the Study of Diabetes Mellitus and the European Society of Endocrinologists. Prof. Y.I. Komisarenko is a member of EVIDAS (European Vitamin D Association Scientific society).
Associate Professor N.M. Kobylyak is a member of the European Endocrinology Association (ESE) and the European Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (EASL).
In addition, the department actively participates in international multicenter researches of pharmaceutical preparations and, accordingly, in conferences devoted to these studies. International cooperation of the endocrinology department is facilitated by our Endocrinology textbook, which was approved by the president of the European branch of the International Diabetes Federation, prof. Eberhardt Stendhal (Germany).
Our teachers improved their professional skills in the USA, the People’s Republic of China, Italy, and the UAE. We have trained more than 30 endocrinologists for China, Russia, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Poland, Greece, Syria, Iran, Peru, Palestine, Jordan and Cyprus, Tunisia, and four of them became candidates of medical sciences, one received a PhD.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENDOCRINOLOGY WAS AWARDED THE NATIONAL SCHOLAR AWARD AT THE 25TH UNITED EUROPEAN GASTROENTEROLOGY WEEK (SPAIN)
