Employees of the department of endocrinology carry out significant medical, diagnostic, and advisory work at the department’s clinical bases. Over the past 2 years, the department’s employees have consulted more than 3,000 patients. We are especially proud of the monthly scientific and practical conferences of endocrinologists in Kyiv, which we have been holding for over 30 years. Our employees speak at them with up-to-date information on international algorithms and recommendations for endocrinologists in the city. Concilium and clinical examinations of seriously ill patients are also regularly held, at which, in addition to doctors, post-graduate students and clinical residents of the department are present. All teachers of the department are endocrinologists with considerable experience.
Prof. Komisarenko Y.I. and associate professors of the department often act as experts of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Kyiv Department of Health in preparing documents for the endocrinological service.
