Educational activities

The main directions of educational activities at the Department of Psychiatry and Addiction are civic, patriotic, family, artistic and aesthetic, moral, ecological, legal education, motivation to subjects study, professional ethics and deontology, forming a healthy lifestyle and promoting creative development .

The main tasks of educational work are defined by the State National Program “Education (Ukraine of the XXI Century)”, the Laws of Ukraine “On the Legal Status and Commemoration of the Fighters for Independence of Ukraine in the XX Century”, “On the Perpetuation of the Victory over Nazism in World War II 1939-1945”; decrees of the President of Ukraine; recent resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; orders on the organization of educational work in higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, etc.

Teachers of the department constantly work not only on the formation of professional skills of students, but also on the formation of life goals and competencies that contribute to the development of a clear civic position, legal and political culture, patriotic consciousness, respect for the Ukrainian state and love for the people with a common sense of the people values ​​and humanistic ideals; preservation and multiplication of historical and cultural traditions; education of moral qualities and intelligence; conducting activities within the legal field of the state; shaping the need for healthy lifestyle and promoting health; forming a sense of corporatism and solidarity, understanding of their social responsibility; development of independence; participation in volunteer movement activities, etc.

Educational activities at the department are carried out by assistants and associate professors of the department during the supervision of groups of medical-psychological and medical faculties and dormitory using modern formats of round table, trainings, workshops, quests, joint movie viewing, speeches of employees of the department, newspapers, magazines, television, the Internet, materials of the department’s WEB-resource.
