– June 11-12, regularly Department conducts an International scientific conference, dedicated to memory of St. Luke (Valentin F. Voyno-Yasenetsky) (2019 – “Religion and Medicine”, 2020 – “Philosophy of religion and medicine in the post-secular era”), co-organizers of which are the “HUMANUS” Center for Personality Development (Plovdiv, Bulgaria) and Institute of Social Medicine and Medical Ethics of the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovak Republic). Head of organizing committee is Iryna V. Vasylieva, the head of department, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor.

• Participation in international projects:

– 2013 – 2016 – Iryna V. Vasylieva, the head of department was a member of the editorial board of the international issue of the “Auspicia” magazine (peer-reviewed scientific magazine for the social sciences and humanities) (Higher School of European and Regional Studies, Czech Budejovice, Czech Republic).

– the department is a participant of an international project on preparation for the publication of special multilingual theoretical issues of Bulgarian magazine “Ideas. Philosophical Magazine” (“HUMANUS” Center for Personality Development, Plovdiv, Bulgaria) – “Ideas. Philosophical Magazine. Special scientific isseus” (the Head of Department Iryna V. Vasylieva is a member of the editorial board, Professor Serhii L. Shevchenko is releasing editor, Associate Professor Svitlana D. Miserzhy is editor of Bulgarian texts, Senior Lecturer Viacheslav V. Kobrzhytskyi is editor of English texts, Associate Professor Olena A. Viacheslavova is editor of Russian texts, Associate Professor Maryna Y. Turchyn is editor of Ukrainian texts).
