Deeva Yuliia Valeriivna – Head of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.
In 1995 she graduated from Bogomolets Ukrainian State Medical University.
1997-1999 She completed her clinical residency at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.
She completed an internship in endoscopic rhinosurgery (Italy, Milan), courses in ear microsurgery and otoneurosurgery (Poland, Warsaw).
In 2001, she defended her Ph.D. thesis on the topic: “Impaired circulation of intralabyrinth fluid in sensorineural hearing loss of various origins and methods of its correction”.
In 2012, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Peripheral and central disorders of the vestibular analyzer in patients with diabetes mellitus (clinical and experimental study)”.
Doctor of the highest category. Every year, at the invitation of foreign colleagues, he attends international forums, conferences, master classes and seminars on otorhinolaryngology.

Research interests:
- auditory and vestibular disorders in patients with endocrine disorders;
- etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of sensorineural hearing loss;
- modern methods of treatment of acute and chronic pathologies of ENT organs;
- immunological reaction in patients with acute and chronic diseases of the ENT organs;
- vestibular dysfunction in patients with diabetes mellitus;
- history of otorhinolaryngology in Ukraine;
- A Scientific Approach to Teaching Methods in Higher Education.
Implementation in clinical practice: 5 patents
Publications: more than 150 scientific papers, including manuals and guidelines.
He is a member of the European Federation of Audiologists, a member of the Approbation Council “Special Issues of Surgery”, a member of the Academic Council of the Medical Faculty No. 2, Bogomolets National Medical University, a member of the Working Group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the preparation of national protocols (instructions) on ENT (otorhinolaryngology)
She was awarded the Gratitude of the Mayor and the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for her significant personal contribution to the development of health care and high professionalism.

Naumenko Oleksandr Mykolayovych – Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, First Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Postgraduate Education.
In 1988 he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute named after Academician O.O. Bogomolets.
He completed an internship in endoscopic rhinosurgery, courses in ear microsurgery and otoneurosurgery (Warsaw, Poland).
In 1998 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic “The state of mineral metabolism and methods of its correction in some forms of rhinitis”.
In 2002 he completed his doctoral dissertation on spontaneous and induced pathomorphosis of chronic rhinitis in residents of the Kyiv region.
In 2023, Oleksandr Naumenko was awarded the honorary award of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Number of trained PhD students: 6
Scientific interests: the result of many years of work of Professor O.M. Naumenko was the creation of a new direction in science – ecological rhinology. Under his supervision, 3 PhD and 1 doctoral dissertations were defended.
Implementation in clinical practice: 3 patents of Ukraine.
Publications: more than 140 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 2 inventions, 4 textbooks, 2 methodological recommendations.
Oleksandr Mykolayovych is the first vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work. He also played one of the key roles in the creation of the Faculty of Training of Doctors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Tyshko Fedir Oleksiyovych – Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
In 1960 he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
He completed his clinical residency from 1963 to 1965 at the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases.
In 1969 he defended his Ph.D. thesis, and in 1981 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Surgical treatment of patients with post-traumatic stenosis of the larynx and trachea”.
The main directions of scientific and practical work:
He was the first in otorhinolaryngology to use circular resection of the stenosing area of the larynx and trachea with the formation of intertracheal and tracheolaryngeal anastomoses;
developed methods of surgical treatment of paralytic stenosis of the larynx by extra- and endolaryngeal routes;
one of the founders of laryngeal microendosurgery for paralytic stenosis;
created the classification of plastic surgeries on the larynx and trachea and methods of plastic surgery in the elimination of defects, atresias and stenosis of the larynx, trachea and cervical esophagus;
He developed a clinical classification of rhinitis.
He was the first otolaryngologist to describe benign and malignant tumors localized in the ENT organs from the small salivary glands;
He developed microsurgical operations on the vocal folds in tumors.
Implementation in clinical practice: 18 inventions related to reconstructive and plastic surgery of the respiratory system.
Publications: more than 250 scientific papers, including monographs, textbooks and guidelines.
Public activity: laureate of All-Ukrainian song festivals, author of the Anthem of the Bogomolets National Medical University and the Anthem of the Ukrainian Medical Society of Otorhinolaryngologists.
Membership in professional associations: member of the Association of Otiatists, Otoneurosurgeons and Otoneurologists of Ukraine, member of the All-Ukrainian Association of Surgeons of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Didkovskiy Vyacheslav Leonidovych – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
In 1996 he graduated from the Ukrainian State Medical University named after Academician O.O. Bogomolets.
He has repeatedly completed internships abroad in Salzburg, Austria in 1998, 1999, 2008. and in Warsaw, Poland in 2009, 2010, 2015. including microendoscopic ENT surgery, plastic rhinosurgery, audiology, endonasal and otosurgery (Research Institute of Otolaryngology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Cornell University, USA, ENT Clinic of the University of Mainz, Germany).
In 2000, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: “Vestibular dysfunction in sensorineural hearing loss (features of diagnosis and approaches to treatment)”.
The main directions of scientific and practical work:
Head of the current student scientific group of otorhinolaryngology
Research interests: urgent, conservative and surgical treatment of diseases of the ear, nose, larynx, neck and adjacent areas, endoscopic diagnostics and surgical treatment of head and neck pathology, aesthetic surgery of the face and neck.
Publications: 100 publications, including 8 abroad, co-author of the monograph “Differential diagnosis by symptoms in otorhinolaryngology” (2004, 2014) and the textbook “Otorhinolaryngology” (2009, 2011).
Public activity: takes an active part in the life of the Bogomolets National Medical University, since 2003 he has been working as an assistant to the Vice-Rector for Medical Work, acting as the Head of the Medical and Advisory Department. Since 2012, he has been working as the executive secretary of the Approbation Council “Special Issues of Surgery”, a member of the Commission on Bioethical Expertise and Ethics of Scientific Research of the Bogomolets National Medical University.
Membership in professional associations: since 2008 he has been a member of the European Society of Rhinologists, and since 2005 he has been a member of the board of the Ukrainian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists in Kyiv and Kyiv region, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Otiatists, Otoneurosurgeons and Otoneurologists.

Tereshchenko Zhanna Anatoliivna – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
In 1998 she graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University.
She completed her postgraduate studies in 2003.
In 2004, she defended her dissertation for the title of Candidate of Medical Sciences, which was devoted to the issues of auditory and vestibular disorders in patients with systemic autoimmune diseases.
The main directions of scientific and practical work:
urgent, conservative and surgical treatment of diseases of the ear, nose, throat, larynx, neck and adjacent areas, endoscopic diagnostics and surgical treatment of head and neck pathology, aesthetic surgery of the face and neck.

The main directions of scientific and practical work:
Currently, he heads a unit of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Kyiv City Clinical Children’s Hospital No. 2, and is a scientific and practical consultant of the children’s ENT department of this hospital; He is responsible for the scientific work of the department. Priority scientific interests are such diseases of the ENT organs as chronic tonsillitis, adenoid vegetations, diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses.

Zadorozhna Anna Georgievna – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
In 2000 she graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University.
In 2007, she defended her Ph.D. thesis on the topic: “Pathogenetic affinity of chronic inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes of the nose and bronchi in the liquidators of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster”.

Krynychko Liliia Romanivna – Assistant Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
In 1990 she graduated from Ternopil State Medical Institute.
She underwent multiple advanced training in well-known clinics in Europe. During 2008-2009, she trained several times in a leading oncological clinic in Israel, in 2009 she underwent an internship in otosurgery in Germany. In 2010, she completed an internship at a plastic surgery clinic in Italy.
She defended her dissertation in 2003, which was devoted to the role of nasal valve dysfunction in the occurrence and course of diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses.
The main directions of scientific and practical work: plastic surgery and endoscopic rhinosurgery. He performs operations such as rhinoplasty, septoplasty, polypotomy, paranasal sinus surgeries, and surgeries to remove tumors of the nasal cavity.

She graduated with honors from the Medical Faculty of Zaporizhzhya Medical Institute.
In 2007-2009 she studied in clinical residency.
She completed internships in clinics in Austria, Germany, and the USA.
In 2002, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic “Effectiveness of inhaled corticosteroids in the treatment of exacerbations of bronchial asthma”;
2011 — dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic “Specific immunotherapy of patients with allergic rhinitis with combined sensitization to household and pollen allergens”.
