GDR (TOPIC)

Digital protocols for differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention of functional disorders of the maxillofacial area. Clinical and laboratory analysis of occlusal relations in the period of adaptation to fixed dentures (intermediate). Based on the known modern digital technologies of dentures, a digital protocol for the treatment of functional disorders of the maxillofacial area will be proposed, which combines the use of different technologies in certain combinations and sequences to achieve a qualitative new result in cases of functional disorders.

Recently, the department has published a large number of scientific papers, received patents for inventions. In addition, a series of works on the creation of dental metal alloys, artificial teeth of high hardness on a composite basis, ceramic masses, samples of equipment for dental foundries and laboratories of cermets, as well as a set of equipment for sterilization in dentistry. Among the cathedral works of more than 700 scientific works of V. Nespryadko, including textbooks, monographs, methodical information, the most important of which are:

⚫ “Proshtetic dentistry” (M. Rozhko, V. Nespryadko, 2003);

⚫ “Dental prosthetic equipment” (M. Rozhko, V. Nespryadko , 2006);

⚫ “Dental implantology. Fundamentals of theory and practice “(V. Nespryadko, P. Kuts, 2009);

“ Prosthetic Dentistry ”(V. Nespriadko, Z. Zhegulovych, 2015);

⚫ “Prosthetic dentistry” (M. Rozhko, V. Nespryadko, 2020).

The textbook covers the issues of one of the modern directions of dentistry – dental implantation.

Sections of the manual book correspond to the curriculum and curriculum for the specialization “Prosthetic Dentistry” approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

The history of the use of implants in the world and in Ukraine, the anatomy of the jaws and the high-mandibular joint, the properties of biocompatibility of materials, the design features of dental implants and the mechanisms of their integration with surrounding tissues, issues of biodeontology, indications and contraindications for the use of dental implants are presented in detail. The manual book contains the following sections: examination of patients during the planning implantation, implants and materials for their manufacture, modern surgical protocols for implantation, methods of dental prosthetics on implants. The most common complications at different stages, methods of their prevention and treatment are described.

Taking into account modern requirements, the manual book includes test tasks and prosthetics algorithms using dental implants.

The text of the manual book is accompanied by sufficient illustration material.

The publication is recommended for dentists, teachers and students of dental faculties of medical universities, as well as masters, graduate students, clinical residents.

The national textbook covers the clinical biomechanics of the dental and maxillofacial system, methods of examination of patients, modern analgesics during prosthetic treatment. The clinical picture and orthopedic treatment of patients in case of partial and complete absence of teeth, as well as clinical and laboratory stages of denture construction are considered. The text of the textbook is divided into appropriate modules and supplemented with rich illustrative material. For students, interns, masters, residents of dental faculties of medical institutions of higher education and dentists-practitioners, researchers working in the field of dentistry.

10 methodical recommendations came out from the scientific pen of the head of Valeriy Nespryadko – author of more than 40 inventions and patents, including fundamentally new methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases; dental-maxillary system.

Congresses, conventions and conferences are events where we test fresh ideas and new methods. The Congress of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS) is a landmark event for scientists. In particular, at the 83rd Congress of the European Orthodontic Society EOS2007 in Berlin, Ukraine was presented with two reports, one of which – “TMJ dysfunction in patients with maxillofacial anomalies” – authors Professor V. Nespryadko and I. Skrypnyk and Yuriy Klitinsky.

The Department of Prosthetic Dentistry is a base for holding sectional meetings of scientific conferences, its employees speak on international scientific and practical conferences within the framework of international specialized exhibitions “Dentistry”. With the initiative of the staff of the department in the scientific and practical training center a seminar “Modern technologies in prosthetic dentistry” is organized.

Since 2006, annual scientific readings dedicated to the memory of Professor S. Kryshtab have been held. Among the list of the most important events organized by the department, or the staff of the department participated, the following:

  • 10th International Congress of the Polish Association of Temporomandibular Disorders 2016 (V. Nespryadko, Y. Klitinsky) and others.
  • – International Conference “Orthodontics Today” in Kyrgyzstan in 2017; employees of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry together with the staff of JV “Promed” gave lectures and held master classes “Technique of a straight arch and its structural elements”;
  • – II International Conference of Dentists in Poland in 2015 (V. Nespryadko, Y. Klitinsky, V. Shibinsky, D. Gushcha); the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry co-organized the conference;
  • – International educational and practical conference “Modern tools for diagnosis and treatment of sagittal occlusion anomalies” in 2018, held by the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry together with JV “Promed” with the participation of representatives of Ukraine and Georgia.

The department regularly participates in the Eastern European Conference, which is held twice. The first conference was in 2000, and its founder is the President of the Association of Implantologists Myron Ungrin. In the reports, members of the department move away from general problems, instead focusing on the problems of occlusion on implants.

Conference in Opole

The department is constantly involved in the Eastern European Conference in Kazimierz Dolny

On the 9th EuroPerio Congress, which has established itself as the world’s leading congress on periodontology and implant dentistry (Amsterdam, 2018)

On the XI International Congress of the Polish Society of Articular Dysfunction (Voyaniv Castle)

Congresses and conferences are events where fresh thought is tested (Cologne, 2019)

On the IX Eastern European Conference in Lviv (April 2019)

Highly qualified scientific and pedagogical work is carried out through doctoral, postgraduate, clinical residency on the basis of the department. As part of the training of scientific and pedagogical staff for higher medical educational institutions of Ukraine, the staff of the department reviews dissertations, participates in the work of the expert commission and the approbation council “dentistry”, in the activities of the Association of Dentists of Ukraine. Raising the scientific level of teachers – in particular internships – is another level of scientific and pedagogical activity, in which the staff of the department is actively involved. Specialists undergo internships both in Ukraine and abroad.
