SCIENTIFIC WORK
Research work of the department:
“Morphological features of rat organs under conditions of experimental exogenous influence“, state registration number 0122U000491

Main areas of work:
The object of the study: Features of damage and compensatory and adaptive changes in the internal organs of rats under the influence of viper and scorpion venom, exposure to formaldehyde and library dust.
The purpose of the work is to determine the peculiarities of the morphological and biochemical parameters of the structure of internal organs under the influence of viper and scorpion venom, exposure to formaldehyde and library dust.
Research methods:
histological – to study the microstructure of the structural elements of internal organs of rats;
electron microscopic – to study the ultrastructure of the constituent structural elements of internal organs of rats;
biochemical – to determine markers of damage to the tissue of internal organs of rats;
of mathematical statistics – to assess the dependence between biochemical parameters and structural changes in the internal organs of rats.
Established: The experiment will be conducted on modeling in non-linear male rats the state of acute intoxication with the venom of vipers and scorpions, exposure to formaldehyde and library dust. Control of changes in internal organs at different levels of structural organization will be carried out by comparing the obtained micro-, ultra-microscopic and biochemical data between groups of intact rats (control group) and rats of the experimental group.
In order to conduct research, there is agreement with all interested organizations (the departments of biochemistry and clinical medicine of Taras Shevchenko KNU, the department of histology and embryology of O.O. Bogomolets NMU, the department of histology and embryology of Ternopil National Medical University named after I.Ya. Gorbachevsky).
To carry out histological studies, we cooperate with the Ternopil National Medical University named after I. Ya. Gorbachevsky.
