Susak

YAROSLAV MYKHAILOVYCH SUSAK

Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Head at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born in 1964, Ukrainian.

Ya.M. Susak is a laureate of the Order of Dignity of the European Parliament (1997) and an Honoured Doctor of Ukraine (2018).

In 1987, he graduated from the Medical Faculty of Lviv Order of Peoples’ Friendship of the State Medical Institute. From 1987 to 1988,he took an internship in the specialty “Surgery” in Kyiv Hospital of Emergency Medical Care. From1988 to 1991, he worked as a surgeon at the Policlinic No. 4 of Leninhradskyi district of the city of Kyiv. From1991, he worked as a senior laboratory assistant, from 1993,as an assistant and from 1998 to 2006, he worked as an associate professor at the Department of General Surgery No.1of Bogomolets National Medical University. From 2006 to 2019, he worked as a professor of the department of surgery of the dental faculty of Bogomolets National Medical University.In 1998, he received a higher qualification grade in the specialty of Surgery.

In 1997, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the subject “The importance of biliary microlithiasis in the selection of treatment tactics for acute relapsing pancreatitis”.

In 2004, he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medicine on the subject “Diagnosis and treatment of non-inflammatory diseases of the pancreas complicated by jaundice”.

He defended four Ph.D. theses under the guidance of Professor Ya.M. Susak.

His has 27 years of scientific and pedagogical experience and 33 years of medical experience. He is B2 level fluent in English (British Council).

He is the co-author of 4 teaching manuals, 24 patents and 190 scientific papers. The Hirsch index is 5(Scopus – 5).

From 2008,he was a clinical head of the Specialized Department of Liver Surgery, Bile Ducts and Pancreas of Kyiv City Clinical Emergency Hospital.

Since 2019, he has been working as the Head of the Department of Surgery No. 4, which is now reorganized into the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery.

BURKA ANATOLIY OLEKSIYOVYCH

Doctor of Medicine, Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on July 05, 1941 in the village of Ragivka of Polissia district of Kyiv region.

In 1964, he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute.

In 1964-1966, he worked as a lecturer in surgery at the Medical College in Chornobyl, as a medical practitioner at the surgical department at the central district hospital and concurrently as a district medical assessor.

Since 1966, he has been working at the Department of Surgery – as a postgraduate, assistant, associate professor, and professor. In 1969, A.O. Burka defended a thesis for a degree.

of Candidate of Medicine on the subject: “Materials on status of coagulative, anticoagulative blood system and thromboelastography in patients with acute cholecystitis”.

In 1969-1971, he combined an assistant position with working at the Academic Medical Council of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

In 1972, he graduated with honors from Kyiv Institute of Patent Studies.

From 1981 to 1998, A.O. Burka worked as Deputy Dean of Research at the 2nd Medical Faculty.

In 1984, he defended a doctoral thesis on the subject “Surgical treatment of patients with cholecystitis with concomitant diseases and complications”.

A.O. Burka is the author of 226 academic papers, 7 methodical recommendations, 8 inventions, 13 streamlining proposals, and a co-author of monographs, lectures on hospital surgery (vol. I, II, III), textbook “Surgery”, vol. II, III, surgery practical manuals: “Surgery, 1, 2, 4 modules”.

Professor A.O. Burka is a Board Certified surgeon, greatly contributed to healthcare development in abdominal surgery. He improved methods of operations on the stomach, intestine, liver, gall bladder, and bile ducts, pancreas, methods of treatment of peritonitis, intestinal fistula, and infected wounds. These developments implemented in practice significantly increased efficacy of treatment of serious illnesses. He worked under Professors M.M. Kovalev and V.M. Korotkyi, Academicians O.O. Shalimov and M.N. Malinovskyi, with deep gratefulness considered by him as his teachers. A.O. Burka is a model teacher. Thousands of his former students work in practical healthcare, many of them have become professors, directors, corresponding members of NAMS of Ukraine, associate professors, and embody in their pedagogical, research and medical work the knowledge, retained from Professor A.O. Burka. He has earned his reputation among patients thanks to his excellent professional qualities and surgical skills, warm attitude to patients, which seems to be the highest distinction of the physician’s professional behavior.

A.O. Burka spoke at republican conferences, meetings of the Scientific Society of Surgeons in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region, at educational and methodical conferences, attended the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of Ukraine. Its Committee awarded him a First Class diploma.

In 1998, Professor Mishalov V.G., Head of Bogomolets NMU Department of Surgery No. 4, invited A.O. Burka to take a position of Professor at the department, where he has been working till now.

Professor A.O. Burka is a member of the Boards of Scientific Societies of Surgeons of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region, the editorial board of “Surgery of Ukraine” journal, has headed the Approbation Council “General Surgery Issues” for over 30 years, and the CMC for surgical disciplines for over 19 years. He is the Head of the audit committee of the Association of Surgeons of Ukraine.

For his fruitful work for benefit of mankind and state, A.O. Burka was repeatedly awarded and given letters of appreciation. He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Kyiv City State Administration, the Certificate of Honor and letters of appreciation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Certificate of Honor of the Mayor of Kyiv, medals “In Commemoration of the 1500th anniversary of Kyiv”, “Labor Veteran”. For services to higher education, A.O. Burka awarded the honorary badge “For excellent success in work”. The Golden Fortuna International Academy of Rating Technologies and Sociology awarded him the Order of Labor Glory in 2012. On June 07, 2013, Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Volodymyr awarded a diploma for diligent work to glory of the Holy Church to Professor A.O. BurkaIn 2016, he was thanked for his considerable personal contribution to strengthening of the State Security of Ukraine. In 2018, he was awarded the Medal of Honor for Ukrainian Scientists 1918-2018.

A.O. Burka is an Honored Doctor of Ukraine.

 

 

 

KOSTYANTYN VOLODYMYROVYCH RUDENKO

Doctor of Medicine, Professor at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

Rudenko K.V. was born on 27.11.1975 in Kyiv. In 1999, he graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University majoring in General Medicine.

From 1999 to 2001, he took an internship at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

From 1999 to 2004, Doctor surgeon at the Department of Surgical treatment of congenital heart defects in younger children of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery at the AMS of Ukraine.

In 2003, he received a certificate in the specialty of Cardiovascular Surgery.

From 2004 to 2010, he worked as Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery at the NAMS of Ukraine.

From 2010 to 2016, he works as the head of the department of surgical treatment of heart failure and mechanical support of the heart and lungs at Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery at the NAMS of Ukraine.

From January 2016 to January 2017, he worked as the Deputy Director for Scientific and Coordination Work at Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery at the NAMS of Ukraine.

Since January 2017, he is appointed to a position of Deputy Director for Medical Coordination Work at Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery at the NAMS of Ukraine.

Since May 2014, he is the Chief Cardiac Surgeon of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the specialties “Cardiology. Surgery of the heart and arterial vessels” and “Transplantology”.

In 2017, Professor Mishalov V.G., Head of Bogomolets NMU Department of Surgery with a course of emergency and vascular surgery, invited him to take a position of Professor at Department of Surgery No. 4, where he has been working until now.

In 2001-2002, he worked at Ospidale  Riuniti (Bergamo, Italy) concurrently with learning at the International Heart School in Bergamo, Italy. Upon graduation, he successfully defended a thesis “Surgical treatment of various forms of an at rioventricular canal” at the University of Pisa (Italy).

In 2003-2004, he held an external degree program at the European School for cardio-thoracic surgery.K.V.Rudenko attended many international congresses and conferences. He is actively involved in development and implementation of new treatments of congenital and acquired heart defects, especially in the reconstructive cardiac surgery. He is one of the leading specialists in the country in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and prevention of sudden cardiac death.

K.V. Rudenko was responsible for the Institute complex research “Improve the results of radical correction of a complete atrioventricular canal defect” and defended his Ph.D. thesis on “Surgical treatment of a completeatrioventricularseptal defect”.

From 2008 to 2010, he was a correspondence student of the Faculty of Public Administration at the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. Upon graduation, he obtained a degree of Master of Public Administration.

The Presidium of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine in 2010 awarded Academic Award for Young Scientists to K.V.Rudenko for a series of scientific papers “A modern look at progress and stages of treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy”.

In 2013, K.V. Rudenko defended his doctoral thesis “Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: issues of diagnosis and treatment”.

In 2009, he completed an internship in Singapore under the Hospital management program (Singapore cooperation program).

In 2010, he passed the INSEAD program: European Health Leadership Program in Fontainebleau, France.

K.V. Rudenko has a higher qualification grade in the specialty of Surgery of the heart and arterial vessels and a higher qualification grade in the specialty of Management in healthcare.

In 2014, K.V. Rudenko was conferred an academic title of a senior researcher. He is the author and co-author of 142 research papers and 11 inventions.

K.V. Rudenko in cooperation with the State Institution “NAMS Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery” and the Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons of Ukraine supported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine initiated and organized the All-Ukrainian project “Stop the epidemic of cardiovascular diseases”.

Since October 2015, he has been elected Advisor to the All-Ukrainian Association of local self-government authorities “Ukrainian Association of District and Regional Councils”.

K.V. Rudenko is a regular member of the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons, a board member at the Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons of Ukraine.

In 2017, he was invited to a position of Professor at Department of Surgery No.4.

 

 

YEVHEN VOLODYMYROVYCH TSEMA

Doctor of Medicine, Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on August 25, 1982 in Kirovograd.

In 1999, he graduated from secondary school with honors.

In 2005, he graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University majoring in General Medicine.

From 2003 to 2005, he worked as a nurse man at the proctology department of the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In 2008, he graduated with honors from the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, majoring in surgery, defended his master’s thesis on “Optimization of diagnostic and therapeutic tactics for anal extrasphincteric fistulae”.

From 2008 to 2011, he held military service as a medical and senior medical practitioner at the General and Oncological Coloproctology department with chemotherapy wards at the Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In 2009, under Professor Mishalov V.G., he defended a thesis for a degree of Candidate of Medicine on the subject “Rationale and evaluation of efficacy of minimally invasive methods of treatment of internal hemorrhoids”.

From 2010 to 2011, he worked as an assistant at Department of Surgery No.4 at Bogomolets National Medical University.

From 2011 to 2014, he held military service in the Security Service of Ukraine as a senior doctor of the minimally invasive technology department, chief of the surgical department at the military medical department of the Security Service of Ukraine.

From 2011 to 2014, he worked as an academic secretary of the expert council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on issues of examination of dissertations in clinical medicine (surgical diseases).

In 2014, he graduated from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine majoring in Healthcare public administration.

In 2014, he defended a doctoral thesis in Medicine on the subject “Rationale and evaluation of efficacy of low traumatic methods of surgical treatment of pilonidal cysts”.

In 2014, he became an associate professor at the department.

In 2015, he was conferred an academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery.

From 2015 to 2019, he executed duties of the academic secretary at the specialized scientific council D26.003.03 with the right to accept for review and defense of dissertations for doctor (candidate) degrees in Medicine: 14.01.01 – Obstetrics and Gynecology, 14.01.03 – Surgery, 14.01.09 – Pediatric Surgery. He is a member of Bogomolets NMU Approbation Council “General Surgery Issues”.

In 2019, he was selected in the competition for a position of Professor at Department of Surgery No. 4.

He has a higher qualification grade in the specialty of Surgery, specialization in proctology and pathological anatomy.

He is skilled in various surgical interventions in general and oncological coloproctology, abdominal and general surgery, and implements modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of surgical diseases. For the first time in Ukraine, he introduced modern minimally invasive interventions in pilonidal cysts of the sacroiliac area and hemorrhoids:

– Bascom I procedure

– cleft lift procedure (Bascom II procedure)

– ultrasonic curettage of an acute pilonidal abscess (the author’s technique)

– ultrasonic subcutaneous dissection of the pilonidal cyst (the author’s technique)

– Moshe-Gips procedure using low-frequency ultrasound

– Karydakis procedure

– Infrared photocoagulation of distal branches of the upper rectal artery during Doppler control (the author’s technique)

He works concurrently as a surgeon at the Department of Abdominal Surgery at the National Military Medical Clinical Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

He regularly conducts practical training with students, performs full time pedagogical work.

TsemaYe.V. is a co-author of three textbooks, 174 scientific papers (including 14 in international English-language edition), of Volume 3 of the textbook “Surgery (basic manual)”, monograph “Technical aspects of appendectomy”, “Pathomorphosis gunshot wounds of soft tissues”. He has 102 patents of Ukraine for utility models and six innovative proposals.

Ye.V. Tsema’s scientific researches cover a wide range of issues of combat surgical trauma, general and oncological coloproctology, abdominal and general surgery.

He is B2 level fluent in English (British Council Certificate, 2017).

THE DEPARTMENT ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS

 

LEONID YURIIOVYCH MARKULAN

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University. Responsible for research work at the department.

He was born on February 25, 1955 in Kyiv.

After secondary school, he worked as an ambulance orderly for a year. In 1973, he entered Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute, and in 1979 graduated with honors majoring in General Medicine. During learning at the Institute from 1974 to 1976, he worked as a laboratory assistant at the Institute of Oncology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, and from 1978 to 1979 – as a physician assistant at Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery.

Upon graduation from the Medical Institute in 1979,L.Yu.Markulanwas enlisted for a position of a surgeon to Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery. From 1981, he worked as a junior research assistant at the Department of Cardiac and Microvascular Surgery, from 1982 – at the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery and from 1991 transferred to a position of a researcher.

In 1990, L.Yu.Markulan defended a Ph.D. thesis in surgery on the subject “Diagnosis and surgical treatment of chronic duodenal obstruction”.

He has a higher qualification grade in the specialty of Surgery.

He conducts surgery of the highest degree of complexity, implements modern surgery methods into practice, particularly on the abdominal organs.

In 1998, he became an assistant of the department. Since November 2004, L.Yu.Markulan hold a position of Associate Professor at the department. In 2006, he was awarded a title of Associate Professor.

He regularly conducts practical training with students, performs full time pedagogical work.

He is responsible for researches at the department, a member of the Approbation Council “General Surgery Issues”.

He participates in preparation of educational programs of the department.

During his work L.Yu. Markulan has published over 200 research papers, also he is a co-author of the textbook “General Surgery”, two volumes of the teaching manual “Hospital Surgery Lectures”, “Surgery Practicum – Module 1, 2, 4”. He holds 28 copyright certificates for inventions. He has developed lectures on the subjects of “Differential Diagnosis of Acute Abdomen”, “Acute Abdomen: Medical Tactics”, “Surgical Diseases of the Endocrine System”, “Postresection and post-vagotomized syndromes”, “Acute Appendicitis”, “Acute Peritonitis”.

His researches cover a wide range of issues of acute and chronic pathology of the digestive system, vascular pathology.

He is working on his doctoral thesis on the subject “Diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gastric bleeding in patients with complicated ischemic heart disease”.

For his fruitful scientific work, he was awarded the O. Boychenko Prize. Associate Professor L.Yu. Markulan in 2005 and 2007 received the Certificate of Honor of the Mayor of Kyiv. He was awarded a diploma in blessing for hard work for the glory of the Holy Church, Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine, the Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Volodymyr.

VIKTOR MYKHAILOVYCH SELIUK

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on April 01, 1961 in Chernihiv region.

In 1984, he graduated with honors from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute, the Medical Faculty, majoring in General Medicine.

Upon graduation from the institute from 1984 to 1998 he worked at Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery MoH Ukraine: from 1984 to 1991 – a surgeon, and from 1991 to 1998 – a Researcher of the Department of Microsurgery and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.

In 1998, he defended a thesis on “Reconstructive Microsurgery in functional rehabilitation of patients with defects and deformities sole surface”.

In 1994, he took an internship at the surgical clinic of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Vienna. From 1994 to 2001, V.M. Seliuk participated in a joint research of ischemic-reperfusion injury in arteries tissues of the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Vienna, and Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, and the Institute of Physiology of NAS of Ukraine.

In 1998, Professor V.G. Mishalov, Head of Bogomolets NMU Department of Surgery No. 4, invited V.M. Seliuk to take a position of an assistant, and since 2003, he has been working as Associate Professor at the department.

During his work at the clinic and the department, he established himself as a qualified surgeon, a gifted teacher.

He has a higher qualification grade in the specialty of Cardiovascular Surgery. He conducts surgery of the highest degree of complexity, implements modern surgery methods into practice.

V.M. Seliuk has published over 250 academic papers, has 23 copyright certificates, and 18 streamlining proposals. He is a co-author of the teaching manual “Hospital Surgery Lectures” in three volumes, “Surgery Practicum – Module 1, 2, 4”.

The main fields of researches are devoted to issues of cardiovascular surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, and cell transplantation. He combines scientific work with a position of a secretary of the Approbation Council “General Surgery Issues”.

Associate Professor V.M. Seliuk was awarded the diplomas and honors by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Council of Ministers of Ukraine and the Mayor of Kyiv.

 

 

 

Balaban

OLEH VALERIIOVYCH BALABAN

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University, Honored Doctor of Ukraine.

Date of birth: June 01, 1966.

In 1983 he completed secondary school No. 236 in the city of Kyiv, and in 1991 – the medical faculty of Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute.

From 1992, worked as a medical practitioner at the surgical department at the regional clinical hospital in Kyiv.

From 1995 to 1997, he studied at the clinical residency at Department of Surgery No. 2 of the Kyiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

From 1998, O.B. Balaban worked as an assistant, and from 2008- as Associate Professor at Bogomolets NMU Department of Surgery No.4, invited by Professor V. Mishalov, Head of the department.

In 2002, he defended a Ph.D. thesis on “Surgical treatment of cosmetic defects of the anterior abdominal wall in patients with degree II-III obesity”.

He is the author and co-author of 181 scientific works, 19 declaration patents for inventions, Associate Professor O.V. Balaban is also a co-author of the teaching manual “Surgery Practicum – Module 1, 4”.

His researches were devoted to issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute pancreatitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, gallstones, issues of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

From 1996, O.V.Balaban was enlisted for a position of a surgeon to the regional clinical hospital in Kyiv, where he is working until now. O.V. Balaban is a Board Certified surgeon. Main fields of his researches: plastic surgery of hernia of the anterior abdominal wall of varying complexity degrees, proctologic interventions (surgical treatment of hemorrhoids, anal fissures, paraproctitis), surgical treatment of varicose veins of lower extremities, reconstructive-aesthetic operations. He is considered to be a leading specialist in laparoscopic and minimally invasive interventions.

In 2015, he obtained a specialization in Oncology. He engaged in surgical treatment of tumors of the skin, tissues, breast, digestive tract, pelvic organs.

He takes an active participation in scientific conferences on surgery and related specialties.

For his fruitful work, O.V. Balaban received diplomas, letters of appreciation, valuable gifts from the Mayor of Kyiv and the Main Directorate of Public Health of Kyiv. In 2013, he was awarded the Order of St. Volodymyr of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

In 2016, by the decree of the President, he was awarded a title of Honored Doctor of Ukraine.

 

 

 

Leshhyshyn

IVAN MYKHAILOVYCH LESHCHYSHYN

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

Date of birth: June 14, 1963, Lviv region.

After completion of secondary school in 1980, he entered Peoples’ Friendship Order Lviv Medical University, upon graduation worked as a surgeon doctor at the surgical department of the Seredino-Budska center district hospital in Sumy region from 1986 to 1990.

From 1990 to 1993, I.M. Leshchyshyn studied at the clinical residency at Department of Surgery No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical Academy, and after graduation worked as a surgeon at the regional medical association of Radianskyi district in the city of Kyiv at hospital No. 22 (now No.18) concurrent with a position of an assistant at Department of Surgery No. 1 of Bogomolets NMA.

In 2000, Professor V. Mishalov invited I.M. Leshchyshyn to a position of an assistant at Department of Surgery No. 4, where since 2009 he has been working as Associate Professor.

He is a Board Certified surgeon.

Associate Professor I.M. Leshchyshyn works effectively with issues of abdominal surgery, treatment of chronic constipation, emergency surgery, obesity surgery, abdominal hernias, diaphragmatic hernia and achalasia cardia, simultaneous abdominal surgeries, treatment of weak pelvic floor muscles.

I.M. Leshchyshyn is also active in scientific researches. In 2008, he defended a Ph.D. thesis on “Complex treatment and prevention of erosive and ulcerative acute gastroduodenal bleeding in patients with myocardial infarction”. Associate Professor I.M. Leshchyshyn is a co-author of 17 patents and 70 articles, and the teaching manual “Surgery Practicum – Module 1, 4”.

He was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Mayor of Kyiv (2006), the Order of the Archangel Michael (2009), the diploma of medical unions (2011), the diploma of Metropolitan Volodymyr of the MP Ukrainian Orthodox Church (2013), the Order of St. Luke (2016).

SERHII MYKHAILOVYCH HOIDA

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on January 01, 1970 in the village of Geletinians in Khmelnytskyi region.

After completion of school with a silver medal in 1987, he entered Chernivtsi State Medical Institute, graduated in 1994 majoring in General Medicine.

Upon graduation from the institute from 1994 to 1997, took an internship majoring in Surgery at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Doctor quality improvement at Pyrogov Vinnitsa State Medical University.

In 1997, S.M. Hoida worked as a surgeon at the Gastrointestinal Bleeding Center of Khmelnytskyi Regional Clinical Hospital.

From 1997 to 1999, he trained at the clinical residency at the Department of thoracoabdominal and vascular surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduation Education.

Since September 1999, S.M. Hoida worked as a medical practitioner at the surgical department of the central municipal clinical hospital, and from 2008 – at the regional clinical hospital in Kyiv.

From 2008 to 2019, he worked as the Head of the Department of General Surgery at the regional clinical hospital in Kyiv.

From 1999 to 2003, he studied externally at the postgraduate course at Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduation Education of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

In 2005, he defended a thesis for a degree of Candidate of Medicine on the subject “Prevention and treatment of postoperative choledocholithiasis”.

In 2003, S.M. Hoida was invited to take a position of an assistant to Department of Surgery No.4 at Bogomolets NMU, since 2008 works as Associate Professor at the department.

He is a Board Certified surgeon.

Associate Professor S.M. Hoida is the author of 61 researches, 6 patents for inventions, and a co-author of the textbook “Surgery Practicum – Module 1, 4”.

Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Volodymyr awarded S.M. Hoida a diploma for diligent work to glory of the Holy Church.

ROMAN VOLODYMYROVYCH HONZA

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.Responsible for academic methodical work at the department.

He was born on December 26, 1978 in Kyiv.

In 1993 he completed secondary school No. 238 in Kyiv, and in 1996 – Kyiv Medical School No.4, followed by admittance to Bogomolets NMU, which graduated from in 2002. From 2002 to 2004 he took an internship at Department of Surgery No.4, Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2002, R.V. Honza worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the department, since 2005 he has been working as an assistant.

From 2009, he has been responsible for academic methodological work at the department.

From 2004, R.V. Honza was enlisted to a position of a surgeon at the regional clinical hospital in Kyiv, where he has been working.

In 2008, R.V. Honza defended a thesis on “Surgical correction of cosmetic defects breasts”.

On October 10, 2010, he was admitted to a position of Associate Professor at Department Surgery No.4.

On September 23, 2014, he was conferred an academic title of Associate Professor of Surgery.

He takes an active part in main researches at the department, namely: treatment of cosmetic defects of the head, trunk, extremities; modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of abdominal organs – liver, biliary tract, pancreas, stomach and intestines.

He has published 125 printed works, is a co-author of 21 declarative patents for inventions, Associate Professor R.V. Honzais a co-author of the teaching manual “Surgery Practicum – module 1, 2, 4”.

In 2004, he completed a full English language course at the First Kyiv State Foreign Languages Courses.

Associate Professor R.V. Honza was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Trade Union Council (2004).

BORYS MYKHAILOVYCH KOVAL

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

Date of birth: January 11, 1979.

He started to work in 1999 concurrent with a nurse man at the intensive cardiac care unit at National Scientific Center “M.D. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology”.

After graduation from Bogomolets NMU, he took an internship in the specialty of Surgery at Department of Surgery No.4 (2002-2004).

From 2004 to 2006, he studied and worked at the clinical residency at the departments of cardiovascular and general surgery at Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital in Kyiv and as a surgeon doctor at the surgery department and the center for surgical hematology of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 9. From 2006 to 2014, he works as an assistant and since 2014 as Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University. Since 2015 he is a trade union leader at the 2nd Medical Faculty of the NMU.

He conducts lectures and practical training for 6th year students.

Since 2002, he actively participates and reports at academic and practical conferences on issues of vascular and reconstructive surgery, phlebology, and issues of specialized surgical care in wartime.

Since 2008 he has been involved in international clinical trials.

In 2011 he successfully defended a thesis on the subject: “Diagnosis and surgical treatment of chronic critical lower limb ischemia in patients with type II diabetes”.

He is the author and co-author of 111 academic publications, including 14 patents for inventions, 4 textbooks, 2 methodological recommendations, 1 book, mostly devoted to the problems of vascular surgery.

Since 2012, he has been working as a secretary of the scientific and practical journal “Surgery of Ukraine”.

He has the second qualification grade in the specialty “Surgery” and “Vascular surgery”, obtained a specialization in ultrasound diagnostics.

In his practical activity he performs surgical interventions in acute and chronic diseases of the peripheral arteries (obliterating atherosclerosis, endarteritis, thrombosis and embolism). He is engaged in treatment of chronic vein diseases and their complications, venous thrombosis. He performs open and endovenous methods of treatment of chronic vein diseases.

Since 2006, he practices at the Vascular Surgery Hospital of the National Military Medical Clinical Center of the Main Military Clinical Hospital. He conducts active practical and consultative activity on the specialty of Vascular surgery at clinics of the city of Kyiv: department of surgery of the Central Hospital of Security service of Ukraine (2011-2012, later as a freelance consultant), the affiliate of Medical Scientific & Practical Organization “Medbud” (since 2013), scientific – NODUS Neuro-rehabilitation Scientific & Practical Center (since 2015), Oxford Medical Clinic (since 2016).

In August 2014, he was seconded to the city of Kharkiv, the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as part of a reinforcement team, to assist the wounded from the ATO area.

He has completed internships at the Baltic Vein Clinic (Lithuania, Riga, 2017) and Brudnowska Vessel Clinic (Poland, Warsaw, 2018).

He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the trade union of medical workers of Kyiv (2008). He received the honors of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “For assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine” (No. 985, 2016).

HRYGORII OLEKSANDROVYCH KOSTROMIN

Date of birth: March 20, 1977

In 1994, he completed a secondary school in Kyiv.

Upon graduation from NMU Bogomolets in 2000, he was invited by Professor Mishalov V.G., Head at Bogomolets NMU Department of Surgery No. 4 to take a position of a senior laboratory assistant at the department, and concurrent he took an internship in the specialty of Surgery at department of surgery No.4, where since 2009 he has been working as an assistant of the department.

In 2002, he obtained a certificate of specialist doctor in the specialty of Surgery.

In November 2012, H.O. Kostromin defended a Ph.D. thesis on the subject: “Surgical treatment of patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm in combination with coronary heart disease”.

He is the author of 39 academic publications, 8 patents and 1 certificate for a paper, a co-author of the teaching manual “Surgery Practicum – Module 2, 4”. He regularly participates in various conferences and congresses.

Mainly his researches are devoted to issues of vascular and emergency abdominal surgery.

Since 2017 he has been working as Associate Professor at the department. He is responsible for practice.

MYKHAILO VASYLOVYCHMAKSYMENKO

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a Course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born in 1978. He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Sumy State University in 2002.

From 2002 to 2004, he took an internship at the Department of Thoracoabdominal Surgery, Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, majoring in Surgery.

From 2004 to 2006, he studied at the clinical residency at the Department of Emergency Medicine at Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduation Education majoring in Surgery.

From 2006 to 2009, he studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Emergency Medicine.

On October 29, 2009, he defended ahead of schedule a thesis on “Optimization of surgical treatment of acute intestine diseases in elderly patients”, specialty 14.01.03 – Surgery, at the Specialized Scientific Council D 26.613.08 of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduation Education of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

While working on the thesis at postgraduate course, M.V. Maksymenko was awarded an M.S. Hrushevsky academic scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

From December 2009 to November 2010, he worked as a Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Emergency Medicine at Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduation Education.

In December 2010, he was selected in the competition for a position of Associate Professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine.

In 2015, he was selected in the competition for a position of Associate Professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Since 2019 he has been working at Department of Surgery No.4 as Associate Professor. During his work at the department he established himself as a highly qualified teacher, scientist and doctor.

He was born on December 31, 1974 in the city of Kyiv.

From 1981 to 1989, he studied at the secondary school No.57.

From 1989 to 1992, he studied at Kyiv Medical College No.4, which graduated with honours.

From 1994 to 2000, he studied at Bogomolets National Medical University. During his studies he was actively engaged in community service. From 1997 to 2001,he was the head of the student scientific society named after A.A. Kysel. From 2002 to 2008, he was the head of the council of young scientists of Bogomolets National Medical University. He organized and conducted 12 international conferences. In 2000,he received the award of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine for the best student scientific work.

From 2000 to 2002, D.S. Myrhorodskyi worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery No.4 of Bogomolets National Medical University and concurrenthe took an internship in the specialty of Surgery. From 2002 to 2004, he studied in the medical residency at the Department of Surgery No.4.

Since 2002,he has been workingas a surgeon of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Regional Clinical Hospital.

RUSLAN MYKOLAIOVYCH KOZUBOVYCH

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born in August 24, 1975 in Tomashhorod urban-type settlement, Rivne region.

In 1994, he graduated from Rokytne Medical College in Rivne region, and in 2000 from Bogomolets National Medical University in the specialty “General Medicine”. From 2000 to 2001 he studied at the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy. From 2001 to 2003 he took an internship in the specialty of Surgery.

Since 2003, R.M. Kozubovych has been working as a surgeon at the Department of Surgery of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No.9.

Since 2003, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Surgery No. 4 of Bogomolets National Medical University.

In October 2012, R.M. Kozubovych defended his Ph.D. thesis on the subject “Particularities of diagnosis and provision of specialized care for patients with hypercoagulability syndromes in emergency abdominal surgery”.

He combines his practical work with scientific. R.M. Kozubovych is the author of 45 printed papers. He constantly takes part in various conferences and congresses.

His practical and scientific works are devoted to problems of emergency abdominal surgery, surgical approach during operations in patients with congenital and acquired coagulopathies and introduction of the latest laparoscopic technologies in abdominal surgery.

In 2014,he received specialization in vascular surgery. He is skilled in various types of artery bypass surgery.

SERHII MYKOLAIOVYCH LOBANOV

 

Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

Serhii Mykolaiovych Lobanov was born in 1958.  After graduating from Ternopil State Medical Institute, in 1982, he worked as a surgeon in Kyiv region (Skvyra, Pzhyshchiv).In 1989, he entered the medical residency of Shalimov National Medical Institute of Surgery and Transplantology. In 1991, after graduating the Institute he started to work at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care and he has been working there till now. Since1999,he has been working as the Head of Surgery Department No.2. He is a surgeon of a higher qualification grade, Candidate of Medical Sciences. From 2010 to 2018, he workedas an assistant at the Department of Surgery No.3 of Bogomolets National Medical University. The topic of his Ph.D. thesis is “Choice of surgical treatment in elderly patients with mesenteric venous thrombosis”. He has 15 published papers,of which: 13 articles, 2 patents, 1 monograph.

He was born on July 31, 1964 in Dymytrov, Donetsk region in the family of a mineworker.

In 1987, he graduated from Chernivtsi Medical Institute majoring in General Medicine.

From 1987 to 1988, I.L. Zarya took an internship at the Department of General Surgery of Donetsk Medical Institute. Thereafter, he worked as a surgeon at the Department of Surgery of Dymytrivsk City Clinical Hospital. From 1991 to 1993, he studied at theclinical residency at the Department of Surgery and Proctology of Kharkiv Institute of Post-Graduate Education.

In 1994, he defended a thesis for a degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in Surgery on the subject: “Ways to optimize the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute suppurative cholangitis” under the guidance of prof. B.M. Dotsenko.

From 1995, I.L. Zarya worked as a surgeon in the City Clinical Hospital No.10, and later that year, as an assistant at the Department of General Surgery No.1 of the National Medical University under the guidance of Professor V.S. Zemskov.

Since 1999, he has been working as an assistant of the Department of Surgery No.4 under the guidance of Professor V.H. Mishalov.

His specialization includes General Surgery, Proctology and Biliary Surgery.

I.L. Zarya is the author of 70 published papers in medical periodicals.

LESIA BOHDANIVNA MALYNOVSKA

She was born on August 07, 1977 in the city of Kyiv.

L.B. Malynovska graduated with honors from “Eco” Lyceum No. 198. She entered Bogomolets National Medical University andgraduated in specialty “General Medicine” in 2001. From 2001 to 2003, she took an internship: extramural cycle– at the Department of Surgery No.2 of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care; intramural cycle– at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2002, Professor V.H. Mishalov, Head of the Department, invited L.B. Malynovskato take a position of senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University. Since2006, she has been working as an assistant of the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2010, she defended aPh.D. thesis on “Prevention of cardiac complications in surgical treatment of patients with chronic lower limb ischemia combined with coronary artery disease” at Shupyk National Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education.

She is the author and co-author of 87 scientific publications and 7 declarative patents,the co-author of the teaching manual “Surgery Practicum – Module 2, 4”. She regularly takes part in various conferences and congresses, with her reports as well. She has two diplomas of I and II degrees for scientific papers presented at conferences of young scientists.

From 2005 to 2014, she worked in the admissions office at Bogomolets National Medical University.

From2012, she worked as a secretary at the Department of Surgery No. 4. From 2014 she was appointed as asecretary of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Medicine No.2 of Bogomolets National Medical University.

She is a Physician of ahigherqualification grade in Surgeryand of afirst grade in Vascular Surgery.

Her practical and scientific works are devoted to solving problems of vascular and emergency abdominal surgery.

PAVLO LEONIDVYCH BYK

Candidate of Medicine, Assistant at the Department of Surgery with a course  of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University, Responsible for the page of the Department and Industrial Control System (ICS), the Head of the Students’ Scientific Group.

He was born on June 02, 1983 in Novovolynsk, Volyn region.

In 2000, he graduated from Novovolynsk Regional Lyceum with honors.

From 2000 to 2006,he studied at Bogomolets National Medical University, which he graduated with honours.While studying at the university, he was actively involved in the work of the Student Scientific Society n.a. O.A. Kysel, and studied in scientific group sat the Research Laboratory Center (now Institute of Pathology Problems), surgery, pathophysiology. P.L. Byk won prize-places at the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads in biochemistry (2002), pathophysiology (2003), operative surgery (2004), surgery (2006) and various scientific conferences of students and young scientists.

In 2006, Professor V.G. Mishalov, Head of the Department invited P.L. Byk to take a position of a senior laboratory assistantat the Department of Surgery No.4 of Bogomolets National Medical University and entered the internship at the Department in the specialty of “Surgery”.

From 2009, he worked as an assistant of the department on a part-time basis, and since 2013 he has been working on a full time basis.

In May 2015, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the subject “Prevention and treatment of peritoneal adhesions during open abdomen surgeries with the opening of the lumen of the alimentary canal”.

He is the co-author of 73 published papers, of which 3 textbooks and teaching manuals, 2 monographs, 1 methodological recommendation, 29 articles, 24 theses, 13 patents and the co-author of the teaching manual“Surgery Practicum – Module 1 and Module 4”.

P.L. Byk is a surgeon of a higher qualification grade. His practical and scientific profile includes abdominal and emergency surgery.

MATVYEYEV

ROMAN MYKOLAIOVYCH MATVIEIEV

Candidate of Medicine, Assistant at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on April 13, 1984 in Chernihiv region.

He graduated from the 9th grade of Voronkiv comprehensive school, and in 1999 he entered the Ukrainian Medical Lyceum at Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2007 he graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University.

Since August 01, 2007, he has been working as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University, and since 2010 as an assistant.

He is the author of 32 published scientific papers, 5 patents for inventions and methodological developments of practical lessons in surgery for 4th, 5th, 6th year students and all-Ukrainian methodological developments in the treatment of chronic pancreatitis. He is a participant and a member of the Organizing Committee of International Scientific and Practical Conferences and Young Scientists Congresses. He is ascientific leaderof young scientists.

In 2016, he defended a Ph.D. thesis on the subject “Minimally invasive and efferent methods in the complex treatment of patients with acute destructive pancreatitis”.

R.M. Matvieiev is a first grade physician. He has additional specialization in “Diagnostic Ultrasound”. He is a member of the Association of Surgeons of Kyiv and Kyiv region. He participates in the dutiesof the Clinic for providing Emergency Surgical Care (site: Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital in Kyiv) as a “Surgeon” and “Ultrasonographer”, performs complex operative interventions for surgical pathology of abdominal organs and soft tissues, including biopsy and puncture-draining manipulations under ultrasound control, performs efferent methods of treatment (plasmapheresis) for seriously ill patients. He has skills in vascular surgery, plastic surgery and ultrasound.

He is a secretary of Cycle Methodological Commission for Surgical Disciplines of Bogomolets National Medical University.

DMYTRO VIKTOROVYCH MIASNIKOV

Candidate of Medicine, Assistant at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on April 15, 1972 in the city of Kyiv.

From 1987 to 1989, he worked as a medical orderly at the Department of Microsurgery of Children’s Specialized Clinical Hospital No.14 in Kyiv.

In 1995 he graduated with honours from the Faculty of Medicine No.2 of Bogomolets Ukrainian State Medical University majoring in General Medicine.

While studying at the University (1992 – 1994) he worked as a nurse at the intensive care unit(ICU) of Kyiv Research Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, as a nurse at ICU and a cast technician at the emergency room of Scientific and Practical Association (SPA) of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine in Kyiv.

From 1995 to 1997, he took an internship in the specialty of Surgery at Scientific and Practical Association (SPA) of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine in Kyiv.

From 1995 to 1996, he completed a master’s degree at the department of emergency and immediate care of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Kyiv. In 1996, he defended his master’s thesis on “Comparative evaluation of peritonitis severity criteria in patients with perforated duodenal ulcer” and received a Master’s Degree in Medicine.

From 1996 to 1999, he completed postgraduate course at the pulmonology department of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education. In 2000, he defended aPh.D.thesis on the subject “Clinic, diagnosis and treatment of closed diaphragm injury”.

From 1999 to 2002, he worked as a thoracic surgeon at the department of polytrauma of Kyiv Medical Clinical Hospital No. 17.

D.V. Miasnikov has a higher medical qualification in the specialty of Thoracic Surgery.

Since 2003, he has working as the head at the department of polytrauma of Kyiv Medical Clinical Hospital No. 17.

In 2014, Professor V.H. Mishalov invited D.V. Miasnikov to take a position of an assistant at the Department of Surgery No.4.

D.V. Miasnikov has 28 published scientific papers, 2 rationalization proposals and 1 patent for an invention. He is the co-author of the educational publication “Polytrauma. Surgery, traumatology, anaesthesiology and intensive therapy”.

VOLODYMYR MYKHAILOVYCH IVANTSOK

He was born in April 24, 1984. In 2001, he graduated from the secondary school No.8, Boryspil.

From 2001 to 2007, he studied at Bogomolets NMU. He graduated majoring in General Medicineand received qualification of Physician.

From 2007 to 2010, he took an internship in the specialty of Surgery at Oleksandivska Clinical Hospital inKyiv. From 2010 to 2012, he studied at the clinical residency in the specialty of Surgery.

From 2012 to 2015, he studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Surgery No.4 of Bogomolets National Medical University. Under the guidance of Professor V.H. Mishalov, he defended a Ph.D. thesis on the subject “Surgical Treatment of complicated forms of acute cholecystitis using laparoscopic techniques in elderly and senile patients with coronary heart disease”, and awarded a grade of Candidate of Medicine.

Since December 2015, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Surgery No.4 of Bogomolets National Medical University.

V.M. Ivantsok is the author of 25 published papers, of which 19 articles, 3 theses and 3 patents.

He has a good command of English.

V.M. Ivantsok constantly improves his level of theoretical and practical knowledge.

He actively participates in scientific and practical conferences on surgery and related professions.

IHOR HRYHOROVYCH KRYVORCHUK

Candidate of Medicine, Assistant at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on December 13, 1965.

In 1983, he graduated from secondary school No.3 in Brovary. In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv.

From 1992, he worked as a resident physician at the Department of Surgery of Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital in Kyiv.

From 2008,he worked as the Deputy Chief Surgeon at Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital in Kyiv.

In 2015, he defended aPh.D. thesis on the subject “Acute mesenteric ischemia: features of diagnostics, treatment and methods for its correction”.

He is the author and co-author of 25 scientific papers and 2 declarative patents for inventions. His scientific studies are devoted to the problems of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute pancreatitis, mesenteric artery thrombosis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, gallstone disease.

I.H. Kryvorchuk is a physician of a higherqualification grade.

His work is devoted to the following:abdominal wall hernia repairs of varying degrees of complexity, proctological operationsand surgical treatment of varicose veins of lower extremities.

He participates actively in scientific conferences on surgery and related specialties.

For the fruitful work, I.H. Kryvorchuk was repeatedly awarded certificates of merit and acknowledgements.

In 2011, he was awarded the Order of Saint Luke of Kyiv Patriarchate.

She was born on March 11, 1983 in Kyiv.

In 2000, she graduated with honors from the school No.193 and entered Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2006, she graduated from the University majoring in General Medicine and obtained the qualification of Physician.

From 2006,O.I. Okhotska started to take an internship at the Department of Surgery No. 4 to obtain a qualification in the specialty of Surgery. After completing her internship, she entered the clinical residency at the Department of Surgery No.4.

From 2011,she studied at thepostgraduate course at the Department of Surgery No.4. She wrote a dissertation on the topic “Sex affirmation surgery in patients with female transsexualism”.

She is the co-author of 76 published papers and 3 patents. Since 2007, he has been participating in the research work of the department: “Innovations in plastic and reconstructive surgery”. She makes presentations at scientific and practical conferences held by the department and international conferences.

She is fluent in English.

In 2009, O.I. Okhotska was awarded the Order of Saint Barbara of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

OKSANA MYKHAILIVNA LOBANOVA

She was born in 1977, Ukrainian.

In 2001, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Ternopil State Medical Academy named after I.Ya. Gorbachevskyi. From 2001 to 2003, she took an internship in the specialty of Surgery at Bogomolets National Medical University based on Kyiv City Clinical Emergency Hospital. After completing an internship, she worksat the Department of Surgery No.2 ofKyiv City Clinical Emergency Hospital.

She has a higher qualification gradein the specialty of Surgery.

In 2009, she defended a thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Since 2019, she has been working as an assistant of the Department of Surgery No. 4 of Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born on January 9, 1991 in the city of Kyiv.

In 2010, he graduated with honors from the First Kyiv Medical College.

In 2016, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine No.1 of Bogomolets National Medical University.

While studying at the University, he was a member of the Student Scientific Society named after O.A. Kysel and of the Student Parliament of Bogomolets National Medical University. His name is listed in the Golden Book of Honor as an excellent student.

From 2013,he was a course leader and from 2015,a chairman of the Student Council of the Faculty of Medicine No.1.In 2013, he was a scholarship holder of the Academic Council of Bogomolets NMU, in 2014, he got Bogomolets scholarship, in 2015,he got Amosov scholarship, and in 2016,he gotscholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Since August 01, 2016, he has been working as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery No.4 of Bogomolets NMU, where he has been taking an internship in the specialty of Surgery. He is the author and co-author of 5 published papers. He has a good command of English.

Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.

He was born in 1993 in the family of physicians.

In 2011, he graduated from Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages No. 1, studied Chinese. He was the head of school self-government.

In 2011, he entered the Faculty of Medicine No.2 of Bogomolets National Medical University.

During his studies, he was the head of the student scientific groups of the departments of operative surgery and topographic anatomy, obstetrics and gynaecologyNo.3, radiology and radiation medicine. He was a representative of a course and a member of the Student Scientific Society n.a. O.A. Kysel. He was responsible for the interdisciplinary collaboration of student scientific groups. He is a laureate of the scholarship of the Academic Council of NMU and the scholarship named after V.S.Zemskov.

He is the winner of the All-Ukrainian Olympiads in Surgery (2017) and Operative Surgery.

D.Ye. Dubenko participated in international conferences as a speaker. He is the winner of All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences for the best scientific works (Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy). He has 11 scientific papers, 3 of which have been published in foreign editions. He has a good command of English.

In 2017, he graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University. His name is listed in the Golden Book of Honor of NMU.

Since August 01, 2017, he has been working as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery No. 4 of Bogomolets National Medical University, where he takes an internship in the specialty of Surgery. Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University

He was born on August 2, 1994 in Ichnia, Chernihiv region.

In 2011, he graduated with honors from Vasylchenko Gymnasium in Ichnya. In 2017, he graduated from the Medical Faculty №1 of Bogomolets National Medical University majoring in General Medicine.

While studying, he was a member of Student Scientific Society n.a. O.A. Kysel, a member of Students’ Trade Union, the head of University Security Service of the Students’ Parliament of the NMU, the head of the Student Technical Secretariat of the AdmissionBoard of the NMU.

From 2011 to 2014, he worked as a laboratory assistant at the department of human anatomy.

M.V. Korotia has a published paper on “Features of cellular immunity in patients with comorbid pathology: hypertension and type 2 diabetes”. He collaborates with the Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine.

Since August 01, 2017,he has been working as asenior laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery No.4 of Bogomolets National Medical University, where he takes his internship in the specialty of Surgery. He concurrently works at the department of operative surgery and topographic anatomy.

From December 01, 2018 to February 28, 2019, he volunteered as a surgeon in the ATO / OOS zone as the part of Pyrogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital. He is a candidate for the Order of Saint Panteleimon in the nomination of “Example in Serving the Society”.

He was born on July 21, 1995 in Yenakiievo, Donetsk region.

In 2012, he graduated from Gymnasium No.37 in Yenakiievo.

In 2012, he entered the Faculty of Medicine No.1 of Gorkyi Donetsk National Medical University.

From 2012 to 2013, he was a laboratory assistant at the department of human anatomy.

In 2014, he was transferred to the 3rd year of Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2018, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine No.2 majoring in General Medicine and received the qualification of Physician.

I.O. Tiuliukin was born in 1990. He graduated from the Medical Faculty No.1 of Bogomolets National Medical University. When studying at the university he actively participated in the work of the Student Scientific Groupof the department of traumatology and orthopaedics of the National Medical University, took part in scientific conferences, preparation of reports on the problems of treatment of fractures and joint diseases, studied the introduction of new methods of surgical and conservative treatment of patients.

While studying, he worked as a nurse in the operating theatre of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No.8.

In 2013, he graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University and got the position of a medical intern in the specialty of Emergency Medicine.

In 2015, he received the certificate of a medical specialist in the specialty of Emergency Medicine.

From 2013 to 2015,he worked as sports medicine physician at the Hockey Club “Sokil”, Kyiv.

From 2015 to 2017, he studied at the clinical residency at the department of emergency medicine of the Institute of Family Medicine of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

From 2015 to 2018, he worked as emergency medicine physician at Boryspil Branch of the Municipal Institution of Kyiv Regional Council “Kyiv Regional Center of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine”.

In November 2017, he passed specialization in laparoscopic choledochoscopy at Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), School of Medicine, University of Minho, Braga, Portugal.

From 2017 to 2018, he passed specialization and received the certificate of a medical specialist in Surgery.

Since 2018, he has been working as a surgeon at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No.11.

POLINA ANATOLIIVNA DANCHENKO

Senior Laboratory Assistant of the Department of Surgery with a course of Emergency and Vascular Surgery of Bogomolets National Medical University.  

She was born on January 12, 1996 in Novoaidar urban-type settlement of Luhansk region.

In 2013, she graduated from Ukrainian Medical Lyceum of Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2019, she graduated from the Medical Faculty No.2of Bogomolets National Medical University.

During her studies, she took an academic course in cardiac surgery of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS Academy Courses) and became a member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS). For two years, she was a leader of the military surgery groupat the Department of Surgery No. 4 and a member of the Student Parliament of the University.

She annually participates in domestic and international scientific conferences, congresses and symposia. In 2017, she completed her internship at the Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein (Department of General Surgery and Oncology, Department of Cardiac Surgery), Campus Lübeck (Germany); John’s Hopkins Hospital (Department of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery and Transplantation), Baltimore (USA) and in 2018 at “Dobrobut” Medical and Diagnostic Center (Department of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery).

She has 7 published papers in both domestic and international medical periodicals and she is the co-author of 1 patent for utility model. She is fluent in English, German, Swedish and skilled in modern methods for processing scientific information and literature.

Since 2019, he has been working as a senior laboratory assistant at the department of minimally invasive and reconstructive heart surgery at the State Institution “Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery” of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

He was born on July 17, 1994 in the city of Feodosiia, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

In 2012,he graduated from the Municipal Higher Education Institute of Shostka Medical School of Sumy Regional Council.

In 2019, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine No.2 of Bogomolets National Medical University majoring in General Medicine and received the qualification of Physician.

When studying he worked at the Student Parliament and as a secretary of the Student Scientific Society n.a. O.A. Kysel. He has repeatedly participated in master classes, trainings, internships and international internships.

From 1979, she worked as a nurse at the pulmonary department at the Clinical Hospital No.7, from 1983, as a nurse of the department No.2 at Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery(nurse of manipulation cabinet, charge nurse, nurse of purulent dressing department).
