Department staff members work in 6 teaching hospitals:

• University Hospital of Bogomolets National Medical University (9 Volodymyr Vynnychenko Str.);
• Main Medical Clinical Center of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (1 Berdychivska Str.);
• 8^th Kyiv City Clinical Hospital (8 Yuriy Kondratiuk Str.);
• 9^th Kyiv City Clinical Hospital (1 Ryzka Str.);
• Universal Clinic “Oberig” (3 Zoologichna Str., Building “В”);
• Ishtar Clinic (9 Obolonska Str.).

All teaching hospitals are equipped with up-to-date cardiomonitors, cardiac defibrillators, ECG machines, ECG and blood pressure monitors, treadmill test, ultrasound machines, spirographs, pulse oximeters, bronchoscopes, X-ray machines, pH meters, endoscopes, immunoassay analyzers, etc.

Every year all academic staff members consult and treat thousands of patients with different cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory, urogenital, blood and musculoskeletal diseases.

Implementation of the results of scientific research of the Department staff members greatly improved the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of many internal diseases. Also, they are actively involved in the development of clinical practice guidelines.
