The clinical bases of the department are equipped with modern medical and diagnostic equipment, among which are the following: All of the above equipment is used in the educational process. In addition, anatomical preparations, tables, thematic radiographs and illustrative data of other instrumental examination methods are used.
The main directions of medical activity of the department are: – conservative and surgical treatment of patients with degenerative-degenerative diseases of the joints and spine, specific and non-specific inflammatory diseases, traumatic injuries of various departments of the apparatus of movement and support.
To ensure the surgical treatment of this category of patients, the following methods and techniques are used: – stable and functional osteosynthesis with the help of immersive and external implants and structures; – arthroscopic methods of treatment; – endoprosthetics of large and small joints; – capsulosinovectomy, arthroplasty and correcting osteotomies; – reconstructive surgery; – operative ways of treatment of diseases of the spine; – study of the etiopathogenetic units, the course and development of the newest methods of conservative and operative treatment for degenerative-dystrophic and nonspecific inflammatory lesions of the apparatus of motion and resistance; – study of the course, development of new methods of treatment and prevention of traumatic injuries of the shoulder, knee, ankle and foot. |
