Every year, the department conducts cycles:

Specializations:

in the specialty “Ophthalmology” (3 months and 5 months), in the specialty “Pediatric Ophthalmology” (5 months, 2 months and 1 month), in the specialty “Optometry” (for junior specialists with a medical education who received a diploma of “paramedic” or “nursing business”) (2 months).

Thematic improvement:

“Therapeutic ophthalmology, ophthalmic surgery and rehabilitation of patients with combat injuries” (2 weeks), “Fundamentals of blepharoplasty” (2 weeks), “Laser, surgical and injection methods of treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous body” (2 weeks), “Strabology” (2 weeks), “Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma” (2 weeks), “Basic techniques of phacoemulsification” (1 week), “Comprehensive approach to the management of ametropia” (2 weeks), “Modern devices for the diagnosis of ametropia” (2 weeks).

Internships: specialty “Ophthalmology” (2 years).
