ABSTRACTS
Korotkyi V., Kolosovych I., Spitsyn R. Surgical treatment of pyloroduodenal ulcers (textbook).– Kyiv, 2008.- 236 c.
The textbook is devoted to resolving the actual scientific problems – improve immediate and long-term results of surgical treatment of Helicobacter – associated perforated pyloroduodenal ulcers through improved methods of diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori, surgical interventions and schemes of Helicobacter pylori eradication in the early postoperative period. The methods of surgical treatment of perforated giant duodenal ulcers, including those connected with tubular duodenal stenosis, and juxtapapilar ulcers were improved. Proposed the methods of diagnosis duodeno-gastric reflux in the early postoperative period and diagnosis Helicobacter pylori with its sensitivity to antibiotics determination. It is proved inexpediency of addition standard eradication scheme prescription in patients with perforated gastroduodenal ulcers due to efficiency of conventional peritonitis antibacterial therapy.
Bezrodnyi B., Korotkyi V., Kolosovych I., Sydorenko R. Surgical treatment of diseases of the pancreas.(textbook). – Kyiv, 2011.- 256 c.
The guide is devoted to the issues of etiology, pathogenesis, carcinogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of surgical diseases of the pancreas. The monograph specifies indications for surgical treatment of patients and substantiates the pathogenetic principle of surgical treatment of patients with acute and chronic pancreatitis. The authors have developed new original methods for the diagnosis and surgical treatment of pancreatic diseases, and introduced the principles of organ and function operative treatment of benign diseases of the pancreas.
Bezrodnyi B., Kolosovych I., Lebedieva K.O. Acute appendicitis (textbook). – Kyiv, 2013.- 182 c.
The textbook is devoted to solution of current scientific task of urgent surgery of abdominal cavity organs – improvement of results of operative treatment of patients by modernizing methods of diagnostics and operative treatments. It was established that the main factors that cause atypical course of acute appendicitis are atypical location of the inflamed appendix, elderly or senile age of patients, heavy background concomitant pathology (immunodeficiency, oncology, etc.). The introduction of advanced technologies for diagnostics and surgical treatment atypical forms of acute appendicitis has made it possible to reduce the percentage of discrepancies in clinical and pathohistological diagnoses by 13,3 % and reduced the incidence of complications in the early postoperative period from 9,9 to 3,5 %, in the long term – from 14,1 to 1,2 %.
Bezrodnyi B., Kolosovych I., Ganol I. Surgical treatment of diseases of the spleen (textbook). – Kyiv, 2014.- 208 c.
The monograph is dedicated to the spleen, as an important morpho-functional organ, and with this clinic in mind, the diagnosis and treatment of the most known surgical diseases that affect the spleen. The team consists of practicing surgeons who, for more than 20 years, have studied the features of the topographic anatomy of the spleen vessels, improved the methods of surgical interventions and introduced the organ-preserving concept of surgical treatment of spleen injuries, including severe ones.
Bezrodnyi B., Teplyi V., Kolosovych A. Diagnostics, prophylaxis and treatment of intra-abdominal hypertension in patients with surgical abdominal pathology (textbook). – Kyiv, 2017.- 144 c.
The thesis is devoted to the actual problem of the surgery of abdominal organs – increase of intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) or intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH), which has attracted the attention of researchers in recent years [1,2,3,4]. Acute surgical diseases and abdominal injuries are accompanied by an increase in intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) in 83.6% of cases and the abdominal cavity syndrome (ACS) or, as it is called, abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) develops in 16.8% of cases. The pathogenesis of this complication is associated with the development of paralytic intestinal obstruction in acute inflammatory processes of the abdominal cavity (acute pancreatitis, closed abdominal trauma, acute peritonitis). This, in turn, causes an increase in the amount of abdominal content. In addition, in this category of patients surgery exacerbates the phenomenon of dynamic intestinal obstruction in the early postoperative period, which is accompanied by an increase in IAP.
Bezrodnyi B., Kolosovych I., Sydorenko R., Tsyganok A. Surgical treatment of liver diseases and biliary tract (textbook). – Kyiv, 2017.- 144 c.

The authors share their own experience of treating this category of patients. The paper describes in detail the modern methods of diagnostics and the latest methods of surgical treatment of patients with liver disease and biliary tract.
