History of the Students scientific club:
Students scientific club was founded in 2000 on the basis of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2002, after the division of the Department of Pharmacy into separate departments (Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Medicines, Pharmacy Organisation and Economics, Pharmacognosy and Botany) the student scientific club was also divided.
In 2007, the departments of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Medicines, Pharmacy Organisation and Economics established a joint students club, but in 2013, the students scientific club of the department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Medicines was separated.
Work areas:
- development and improvement of extemporaneous formulation`s dosage forms recipes;
- theoretical and experimental substantiation of the composition and development of technology for industrial production of medicines;
- development of quality control methods projects for solid, liquid, semi-solid dosage forms, and dosage forms for rectal and vaginal use.
Meetings of the students scientific club are held at the department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Medicines according to the approved schedule.

All-Ukrainian competition of student’s scientific works
2023-2024 academic year
The members of the student`s scientific club of The Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs submitted 2 works for participation in the All-Ukrainian competition of student`s scientific works in the fields of knowledge and specialties:
- Anastasiia Vakula «Development of composition and technology of chewable tablets with Epimedium extract and Vitamin K2 MK-7»
- Kateryna Mykhailova «Development of the composition and technology of a topical agent for diaper dermatitis»
Both works were recognised as winners in the Pharmacy section and awarded with first degree diploma (Anastasiia Vakula) and second degree diploma (Kateryna Mykhailova).

2022-2023 academic year
The members of the student`s scientific club of The Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs submitted 3 works for participation in the All-Ukrainian competition of student`s scientific works in the fields of knowledge and specialties:
- Mohammad Amin Sagwan B.M. Amin: «Development of the composition and technology of tablets with stevioside»
- Ivan Kalynovskyi «Development of a concept for medicines supply in a state of emergency»
- Sofiia Savchenko «Development of composition and technology of an oral dispersible film with melatonin and magnesium citrate»
Sofiia Savchenko was awarded with second degree diploma.
Spring Student’s Scientific Session
2023-2024 academic year
On 25 April 2024, a meeting of the Drug Technology section was held at The Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs as part of the Spring Student’s Scientific Session 2024. A total of 9 reports on the results of experimental research by 2-5 year study students of the Faculty of Pharmacy were presented. The reports were devoted to various aspects of pharmaceutical development. The winners were the 3rd year student Kateryna Mykhailova “The prospect of creating a moisturising cream for dry skin” (Diploma of the first degree), 2nd year student Oleksandra Fedorytenko “Prospects for the creation of soft dosage forms for the needs of military medicine” (Diploma of the second degree), 5th year student Anastasiia Vakula “Epimedium extract and Vitamin K2 MK7 chewable tablets ` pharmaceutical technical properties” (Diploma of the third degree). We express our gratitude to the organisers and participants of the scientific session. Congratulations to the winners!
2022-2023 academic year
As part of the April Student`s Scientific Session 2023 (online edition), on 17 April 2023, students of The Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Foreign Citizens presented 13 reports in English and Ukrainian in a separate section “Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs”. The students` works were recognised as winners:
