MEMO
for graduate to enter the residency
AT BOGOMOLETS NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
The following documents shall be submitted to the dean’s office on residency and advanced training of doctors at Bogomolets NMU for admission to the residency for the period since 1 until 30 July 2013:
- application of graduate;
- passport of citizen of Ukraine*;
- diploma about higher medical (pharmaceutical) education*;
- annex to diploma about higher medical (pharmaceutical) education*;
- certificates about results from passing through Licensing integrated exams “KROK-1” and “KROK-2”*;
- reference that certifies the acquisition of higher medical (pharmaceutical) education on terms of contract;
- contract about payment for study in residency (due to training place of full-time and part-time parts of residency).
The contracts about payment for study in residency are concluded by doctor or pharmacist during the period since 1 until 30, July, 2013:
- with the University – for passage through full-time and part-time parts of residency at departments and their clinical bases.
- On individual basis with the University – for passage through full-time part of residency and a health care establishment (hospital, dispensary, pharmacy, etc.) for passage through its part-time part.
* it is necessary to have the original and copies of abovementioned documents

Re-training of doctors with specialty 7.12010004 “Medical psychology” for specialty 7.12010001 “Medical care”
The re-training of doctors with specialty 7.12010004 “Medical psychology” for specialty 7.12010001 “Medical care” at Bogomolets National medical university is carried out pursuant to the License from Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, dd. 05.06.2013 AE No 270518.
According to Curriculum for Re-training of doctors with specialty 7.12010004 for specialty 7.12010001 “Medical care”, approved by Ministry of health care of Ukraine, dd. 27.05.2011, the period of study is 1 year on the basis of complete medical education for specialty 7.12010004 “Medical psychology”. The academic year is 35 weeks and includes 60 credits (1 week – 1.5 credits), 1 credit is 30 academic hours.
The persons, who acquired the educational qualification level of specialist on specialty “Medical psychology”, and in case of study at place of state order, who worked at the job placement during not less than three year without taking into consideration the period of residency (according to s. 2 Procedure for job placement of graduates from higher schools, which training was carried out due to state order, approved by Decree from Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, dd. 22, August, 1996 No 992).
The cost of re-training in 2013-2014 for the whole period of study (one year) is UAH 15,774, based on UAH 7,887 per one semester of study.
