OPENING THE RECONSTRUCTED LECTURE HALLS

The works, directed to improve the working conditions for teachers and students, are consistently carried out according to strategic plan by rector of NMU K.M. Amosova about reconstruction of University. So, on 19, December, 2014 after capital repair they solemnly opened one of the oldest buildings of O.O. Bohomolets NMU, where there are the departments of pathological anatomy and operative surgery and topographic anatomy (Mechnykova str., 5).

The cost of capital repair was UAH 1,1 million. For the first time during 40 years they had the capital repair of 5 academic lecture halls, replaced the old windows and roof, restored heat and water supply and ventilation system.

The executives of University at the head with rector, corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, professor K.M. Amosova, teachers and students were present at the event.

The welcome speech was made by the rector, who thanked all present people that came to share the pleasure from contemplation of renewed memorial of architecture, where the students are taught and two departments – pathological anatomy and operative surgery and topographic anatomy – make the science. K.M. Amosova expressed the special gratitude to prorector on scientific pedagogical activity and perspective development professor O.A. Nykytiuk for qualitative work on timely reconstruction of the oldest building at University.

The head at department of pathological anatomy professor V.P. Tereschenko made the speech on behalf of academic community. Having made a little historical insight into the past of the building, the professor sincerely thanked the rector and mentioned the symbolic character of this event. As the reanimation events of historical building are held by a woman, and the building itself was constructed in 1909 for medical division of Higher women’s courses by architect P.V. Golubiatnikov. Mrs. Tereschenko mentioned that the today’s event coincided with the birthday of the former head at department of pathological anatomy professor Kysylyova Oleksandra Pylypivna, who liked the funny poetry by Sasha Chornyy “City fairy tale” (by the way, it was also written in 1909), and recited it very artistically.
