Classes with students of 4-5 courses of dental faculty are held at the clinical bases of the department:

Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Children’s Clinical Hospital № 7, Kyiv (at 4-B Podvysotsky St.), Druzhby Narodiv.

Children’s room of the surgical department of the Dental center of Bogomolets NMU  (at 1 Zoologicheskaya St.).

Kyiv City Children’s Diagnostic Center (KMDDC) on the 13 Urlovska Str.

Main directions of medical work:

• Complex treatment and rehabilitation of patients with birth defects of thyroid.
• Development and implementation of new methods of diagnostics and treatment of children with congenital and acquired neoplasms of thyroid
• Specialized care and rehabilitation of children with traumatic lesions of the thyroid and teeth
• Diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases of the temporomandibular joint in children.
• Treatment of inflammatory processes of soft tissues and bones of thyroid in children

The directions of medical work of the department are based on the principles of evidence-based medicine and include the latest technologies (CT, MRI, 3-D, immunohistochemistry, CAD / CAM, CAD / CAME, REO, angiography, PRP-therapy).
