OUR CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 8TH OF MARCH!
Dear University community!
The overwhelming majority of those ones, who study and teach at our University, are women. Let’s agree that this is the indicator for attractiveness of our profession in modern Ukrainian society, and such situation has arisen rather long ago. But during recent two years we and you became the creators for positive changes in representation of females in administration of out Alma Mater that undoubtedly is the achievement in terms of real movement to Europe. Perhaps, Clara Zetkin, with whom this international women’s day is associated, dreamt about it among other things.
Long before the content of this holiday for our society has changed. Let’s agree that the 8th of March is the original mixture of Mother’s Day, St. Valentine’s Day and gratitude to women, an original gender “thanksgiving day” despite the deficiency in resources of different kinds. Is such sense sufficient for holiday? The society is sure that it is! Thus, dear colleagues, let’s respect each other as we are worthy of it!
