THE COMBINED TEAM OF NMU – A WINNER IN CHESS COMPETITION OF THE XII UNIVERSIADE IN C. KYIV
The chess competition of the XII Universiade in c. Kyiv was held on 1, April, 2015 at conference hall in dental building of O.O. Bohomolets NMU due to request from Kyiv city division of physical education and sports of Ministry of education and science of Ukraine. The representatives from 10 higher schools in c. Kyiv, i.e. over 40 best chess players took part in the tournament.
The team of our university included Petro Golubko – international master; Anvesh Upadkhiaya – international master; Demyd Lysenko – Candidate Master of Sports of Ukraine; Iryna Merkulova – Candidate Master of Sports of Ukraine; Uliana Marshalok 1st category.
The combined team of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university in the not simple competitive struggle was the most successful and took the 1st total team place (having won in all meetings without exception). The second place was taken by the team from T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv national university, and the 3rd place – the combined team from National university of bioresources and nature use.
