THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE TO WORLD HEALTH DAY FINISHED ITS WORK

The topic of World Health Day in 2015 was “Safety of food products” under slogan “To make food products safe from the farm to the plate”. The good expression by Paul Breg “We are the ones that we eat”, as well as the numerous researches by scientists again prove that food is as a rule the original reason for all human diseases and problems. That’s why the issue of healthy nutrition is so urgent now.

All students and young scientists, who wished to take part in scientific practical conference, devoted to World Health Day could learn the requirements to published works, register and submit their scientific findings and achievements until 10, March, 2015 at the official website of O.A. Kysil Students’ scientific society.

The conference invited for participation all desired people, who prepared either an oral report or publication of theses/article or stand report and publication of theses/article or as a free attendant to send the theses or article for publication. The official resources of Students’ scientific society received approximately 400 published works from all over Ukraine, which were distributed between the sections according to the profile, chosen in advance. The secretaries of sections worked off each work and thoroughly checked them, as well as protested against availability of copying and originality of printed material.

All works, which corresponded to the requirements, will be published in annex to “Ukrainian scientific medical journal for youth”, with which all desired people can get acquainted on the site of O.A. Kysil SSS.

• Oleksander Kvitashvili – Minister of health care of Ukraine,
• Andrii Serdiuk – President in NAMS of Ukraine,
• Dorit Nitsan – representative of WHO in Ukraine, head of Bureau of WHO in Ukraine,
• Kateryna Amosova – rector in O.O. Bohomolets National medical university;
• Tetiana Gruzeva – head at department of health care organization and social medicine, professor (deputy chairman due to scientific direction),
• Council of O.A. Kysil SSS at the head of chairman Stanislav Ustinov.

During the conference that lasted for 2 days (7-8, April, 2015) on the first day they listened to 34 reports by representatives from medical establishments of Ukraine, Republic of Poland, Republic of Slovakia, and Republic of Belarus that related to the most urgent problems of nutrition.

During the second day of the conference they listened to 144 oral reports, which were presented by representatives from studentship from different higher medical schools of Ukraine, as well as interns and postgraduate students.

In total there were 9 sections: preventive medicine, clinical direction: therapeutic disciplines, clinical direction: surgical disciplines, clinical direction: pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology; theoretical direction; pharmacological direction, pharmaceutical direction; social humanitarian direction; subsection of pupils from Ukrainian medical lyceum of NMU.

The moderators at each of subsections chose 3 best works, whose authors were awarded with diplomas and memorable prizes. The rector of University professor Kateryna Amosova and heads of NMU took part in the closing ceremony of the conference, where the awards were presented.
