MEETING OF SCIENTIFIC CLUB AT DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGICAL ANATOMY No 2: PATHOMORPHOLOGY OF FLU”
The meeting of students’ scientific club on topic “Pathomorphology of flu” took place on 28, April, 2016 at department of pathological anatomy No 2 at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.
The members in students’ scientific club, employees at department of pathological anatomy No 2 took part in the meeting. The students of the 3rd course in medical faculties No 3 and 4 Anastasiia Vasianovych, Dmytro Tkachuk and Sofiia Turayeva presented the substantial reports about peculiarities for etiology, pathogenesis, pathomorphology of flu, its pulmonary and extrapulmonary manifestations, as well as parainfluenza and epidemic parotitis. The chief extraordinary specialist at health care department at KCSA, assistant professor at department of pathological anatomy No 2 Ihor Sydorenko made the report about pathological anatomical analysis of lethal cases from viral pneumonia in epidemic season of 2015/2016 during the meeting.
The speeches by participants in the meeting caused to lively discussion. The participants in the meeting will continue the topic of research of flu and other acute respiratory infections, which are urgent under modern conditions.
