VII INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL CONFERENCE OF STUDENTS AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS

VII International scientific practical conference of students and young scientists “SPECIAL ISSUES ABOUT DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENT OF ENT-ORGANS DISEASES, CRANIOFACIAL SITE AND VISION ORGAN” was held on 12-13, March, 2015 on the base of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.

The prorector on scientific activity, corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, Honorary scientist and technician of Ukraine, laureate of State Prize of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, professor Yuriy Bohdanovych CHAYKOVSKYY, prorector on scientific pedagogical, treatment work and postgraduate education, Honorary doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, professor Oleksander Mykolayovych NAUMENKO and Chairman in Council of O.A. Kysil SSS Stanislav Ihorovych USTINOV.

The heads at departments of dentistry and facial surgery, ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology read three lectures on urgent topics:

1. Corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, Honorary scientist and technician of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, professor Vladyslav Oleksandrovych MALANCHUK “Life and work of professor Yu.I. Bernadskyy”.
2. Honorary doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, professor Oksana Petrivna VITOVSKA “Modern methods for diagnostics and treatment of glaucoma”.
3. Honorary doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, professor Oleksander Mykolayovych NAUMENKO, Doctor of Medicine, professor Valeriy Mykhaylovych VASYLYEV “Modern approaches to diagnostics and treatment of ozena”.
On the first day of the conference the participants after a walk in the center of the city visited the performance “Marriage of Figaro” at Ivan Franko National academic dramatic theater.

The plenary session took place on 13, March, 2015. In total 52 scientific works, made by students, interns, clinical residents and postgraduate students of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, Kharkiv national medical university, M.I. Pyrogov Vinnytsia national medical university, Ukrainian medical dental academy were submitted to the conference.

Among them 23 scientific works were submitted in the form of oral reports, 9 – poster reports. The jury mentioned the high level of scientific works and the following works were acknowledged to be the best ones:

Department of ophthalmology:
– PAVLENKO Dmytro Oleksandrovych (student of the 5^th course in O.O. Bohomolets NMU);
– KOTOVA Yuliia Yuriyivna (student of the 3^rd course in O.O. Bohomolets NMU);
– LITVINETS Yuliia Olehivna (student of the 5^th course in O.O. Bohomolets NMU);
Department of dentistry and facial surgery:
– CHERNOGORSKYY Denys Mykhaylovych (laboratory assistant at department of surgical dentistry in O.O. Bohomolets NMU);
– PONOMARENKO Yuliia Serhiivna (student of the 5^th course in O.O. Bohomolets NMU);
– SHUMYNSKYY Yevgen Valeriyovych (laboratory assistant at department of surgical dentistry in O.O. Bohomolets NMU).

Department of otorhinolaryngology:

– GRYSHYNA Iryna Serhiivna (student of the 4^th course in Ukrainian medical dental academy)

– DUBENKO Dmytro Yevgeniyovych (student of the 4^th course in O.O. Bohomolets NMU);

– SCHUKINA Yuliia Serhiivna (student of the 5^th course in O.O. Bohomolets NMU).
