SELECTIVE GAME “BRAIN RING IN DENTISTRY-2018” IN VINNYTSIA

The selective game of international students’ contests “Brain ring in dentistry”, launched at dental faculty of O.O. Bogomolets NMU in 2000, took place on 17, March, 2018 on base of M.I. Pyrohov Vinnytsia National Medical university.

During different years the selective games of Brain ring were held in Kyiv, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi, Kharkiv, and this year the dean at dental faculty of M.I. Pyrohov VNMU, professor S.S. Polishchuk, the curator of Vinnytsia team of Brain ring in dentistry for many years, invited the participants in the first stage of the Games to his faculty. On Saturday, the lecture hall of morphological building was filled in with fans – students, interns, teachers supported the participants in contest that has already become popular among medical higher schools in the country. 5 teams from M.I, Pyrohov Vinnytsia National Medical University, SE “Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy at MHC of Ukraine”, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Uzhhorod National University and Kharkiv National Medical University. The teams were accompanied by curators – teachers at abovementioned university. So-called “extemporaneous” team suddenly formed during the game, which included the spectators, who wished to try their forces. The contest was held by dean at dental faculty at O.O. Bogomolets NMU professor Nataliia Bidenko, she was assisted by postgraduate student at department of pediatric therapeutic dentistry and prevention of dental diseases at NMU Oleksandr Liutikov. The game was supported by its traditional partner “3M Ukraine’ LLC. The contest was extraordinarily brilliant, dynamic, intensive, full of unexpected turns and unforgettable moments. The teams demonstrated the brilliant game and inviolable will for the victory. The winners became the hosts – students from Vinnytsia, so, they and other teams that came to the final will visit O.O. Bogomolets NMU to the final game in April. We are extremely grateful to the dean, teachers, students at M.I. Pyrohov Vinnytsia National Medical University for hospitality and high level in organization of contest and hope for interesting final game.
