NEW MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN THE UNIVERSITY CLINIC
The NMU University clinic has been granted new medical facilities, owing to cooperation with the Western partners of the University administration and NMU Department of Science.
On May 11th, the American charity fund “Brother’s Brother Foundation”, upon personal participation of Dr. Oleksandr Kyrychenko, Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, donated to the University a mobile Siemens X-ray unit , surgical instruments, sterile and non-sterile medical products, baby food for the newborns and premature babies, etc. Some of the products will be used in the NMU University Clinic, the rest will be distributed between other NMU clinical premises.
The new equipment was obtained by the NMU University clinic upon the direct participation of the NMU rector, corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, professor Yu.L. Kuchyn, vice-rector on Scientific Affairs and Innovations, Professor S.V. Zemskov, vice-rector on education and medical affairs, professor O.A. Kaniura, and the medical director of the NMU University Clinic, S.P. Krasiuk.
