HOLIDAY FROM STUDENTS FOR CHILDREN FROM REHABILITATION CENTER “RODYNA”
Already during the third year the pediatric students of medical faculty No 3 take care of children from rehabilitation center “Rodyna”. Many events were held for these special children. The students from other faculties joined to pediatric students during that time in order together to create the good and gift the holiday to such children and their parents, to help to take care and to learn the communication with children with special need (autism, ICP, Down syndrome).
Our little friends for that period got accustomed to us, started trusting and our mutual communication is the holiday and joy for everyone. On 10, February, 2018 the students-volunteers from medical faculty No 3 (Nechaiev Mykyta, Muzyka Viktoriia, Vavshkevych Anastasiia, Foia Anna – students of the 3rd course) and medical faculty No 2 (Lohvynenko Veronika and Ulianova Viktoriia – students of the 2nd course) took part in organization and performance of holiday to St. Valentine’s Day for children from RC “Rodyna” and Birthday.
The program of the holiday included the master class in production of greeting letters and flowers, entertainment program together with animators from “Costa Rica”, congratulations of birthday persons (we had three of them!), common taking tea, songs by guitar.
The separate gratitude for invitation to Olesandra Posivnych, mother of special child Pavlo Parfeniuk, author of project “Horniatko Dobroty” for involvement of students from University into joint events. We thank the students-volunteers, who responded and created the holiday for children and rehabilitation center “Rodyna’ for cooperation.
