THE STUDENTS FROM POLAND PASSED THROUGH PROBATION AT NMU

Four students from Warsaw medical university had the probation since 6 until 16, February, 2016 at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university according to the program of international exchanges IFMSA SCOPE. The students had the practice on the base of department of surgery No 4 at NMU, department of vascular surgery at Chief Military Hospital in city Kyiv.
The probation was organized according to Memorandum about cooperation between O.O. Bohomolets National medical university and International association of medical students in Ukraine (UMSA) within the professional exchanges of students.

The students from Poland under supervision of assistant at department of surgery No 4 Borys Koval took part in treatment and diagnostic manipulations, assisted at operations, considered the clinical cases, which they have not seen in Poland. Polish students called the probation period at NMU called as the invaluable experience.
The members in all-Ukrainian association of medical students acquainted the colleagues with Ukrainian culture, made the exciting excursions along Kyiv. The students from Poland also visited the classes of English Speaking Сlub, attended the lecture “Posttraumatic stress complication at military men that took part in ATO”.
“All-Ukrainian youth association of medical students extends the cooperation with European countries. Thanks to this, the students of NMU can have the probation at the best clinics all over the world”, – mentioned the chairman of IFMSA in Ukraine, Garik Melkumian.
