STUDENT OF NMU – MEDALIST IN ALL-UKRAINIAN OLYMPIAD IN MEDICAL PSYCHOLOGY

On 27-29, April, 2016 the students from O.O. Bohomolets National medical university took part in the II stage in all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiad in discipline “Medical psychology”, which was held on the base of Kharkiv national medical university.

The winners in the I stage in Olympiad from higher schools of Ukraine were competed for prize places, among them: O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, Kharkiv national medical university, M.I. Pyrogov Vinnytsia national medical university, Zaporizhe state medical university, Odessa national medical university, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv national university.

The department of general and medical psychology and pedagogy with the head, academician in NAPS of Ukraine, professor Serhii Maksymenko every year takes part in Olympiads in different psychological disciplines.

Two students from the 4^th course in medical psychological faculty Dmytro Assonov and Yaroslav Pannochka this year were trained for field-specific Olympiad. The students were accompanied by scientific supervisor, deputy dean in medical psychological faculty, assistant professor at department of general and medical psychology and pedagogy, Candidate of Medicine Bohdan Bozhuk.

The competitions were held in two stages: theoretical part – testing of students and solution of topical crosswords; practical part – check of skills in composition of psychological portrait and possession of psychodiagnostics methods.

According to the decision by jury, the student of the 4^th course in medical psychological faculty Dmytro Assonov took the 2^ndplace in all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiad in 2015-2016 academic year in discipline “Medical psychology” and received the diploma.
