PROBATION OF TEACHERS AT DEPARTMENT OF SURGICAL DENTISTRY IN BRAZIL

Within the project “Smile Ukraine” under support of “International charitable organization “Rotari”, the employees at department of surgical dentistry and facial surgery of children’s age at O.O. Bohomolets NMU: professor Liudmyla Yakovenko, assistant professor Vladyslav Yefymenko and Oleg Shafeta pass through probation in Clinic of Orthognatic Surgery in c. Belo Orizonte (capital of state Minas Gerais). The visit of NMU’s delegation at the head of Dental medical center professor Andrii Kopchak to Brazil is also planned within that program at the beginning of August. During the visit it is planned to sign the agreements about cooperation with Minas Gerais Federal university (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) and Rehabilitation hospital of facial abnormalities (Hospital de Reabilitação de Anomalias Craniofaciais da Universidade de São Paulo), as well as the meeting with Ukrainian Diaspora in Brazil.

Let’s remind that O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, Itauna University and San Paolo University (Brazil) concluded the agreement about cooperation within the project “Smile Ukraine”. The project is directed to treatment of patients with deformations of facial area, and in particular, non-union of palate and upper lip. The project is financed at the expenses of grant from international charitable organization Rotari. The purpose for implementation of the project is to acquaint Ukrainian doctors, facial surgeons with organization and function of Rehabilitation hospital of facial abnormalities and sharing this experience in Ukraine.
