WORKING SESSION ON ISSUES ABOUT MEDICAL (PHARMACEUTICAL) EDUCATION AT HIGHER SCHOOLS IN UKRAINE

The working session of prorectors on scientific pedagogical work, heads in academic divisions and head teachers in scientific methodological laboratories on issues about medical (pharmaceutical) education at higher medical (pharmaceutical) schools in Ukraine was held on 12, March in administrative building of O.O. Bohomolets NMU within implementation of Action Plan by Ministry of health care of Ukraine for organization of academic process under conditions of higher readiness and emergency.

The first prorector on scientific pedagogical activity in O.O. Bohomolets NMU Yaroslav Tsekhmister addressed with the wishes of fruitful work to participants in the session.

The session was held under the head of deputy chief in education division at Department of staff management, education and science at MHC of Ukraine Yuriy Pyatnytskyy. He put the question about organization of academic technical and information provision of persons, who study at M. Gorkyy Donetsk national medical university and State Establishment “Lugansk state medical university”.

The director in testing center of MHC of Ukraine Iryna Bulakh reported about approaches to formation of the new list of specialties in the sphere of knowledge “Health care”. The discussion of this issue caused to lively interests among present people. In particular, changes in specialties “medical rehabilitation”, “preventive medicine”, “pediatrics”. Iryna Bulakh reminded that the proposals to Draft decision of CMU are accepted until 16, March, 2015.

According to the program the session also discussed such issues as peculiarities for attestation of students from Donetsk and Lugansk medical universities, who temporally started their classes at higher schools of MHC of Ukraine, approaches to formation of transitional curricula for graduate training of doctors and pharmacists taking into consideration the requirements in Law of Ukraine “About higher education”, peculiarities for organization of study for foreign citizens in current academic year.

Having discussed the issues, anticipated by agenda, the participants in the session made the proposals into Draft decision.
