HIS HOLINESS PATRIARCH FILARET PERFORMED THE MEETING WITH THE RECTOR OF O.O. BOHOMOLETS NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
His Holiness Patriarch of Kyiv and the whole Rus-Ukraine Filaret performed the meeting with the rector of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, corresponding member in National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Honorary Scientist and Technician of Ukraine, professor Kateryna Amosova on 25, August, 2016 at Synodal Hall of Kyiv Patriarch’s office.
The pro-rector on scientific work at Kyiv Orthodox theological academy archpriest, professor Vitaliy Klos, first pro-rector on scientific pedagogical work at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, professor Yaroslav Tsekhmister, head at department of surgery No 4 at O.O. Bohomolets NMU, Honorary Doctor of Ukraine, professor Volodymyr Mishalov.
Rector of O.O. Bohomolets NMU, professor Kateryna Amosova congratulated His Holiness on the 25th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine, as well as invited His Holiness to the solemn events, which will be held by academic community of University at the beginning of the new academic year and celebration of the 175th anniversary of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.
The Apostle of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate mentioned the important role of medical workers for our state, especially during unannounced war of Russia against Ukraine.
At the end of the meeting His Holiness Patriarch of Kyiv and the whole Rus-Ukraine presented the Bible, translated by His Holiness Filaret, to the rector in O.O. Bohomolets National medical university Kateryna Amosova, as well as the spiritual guide – new book “AXIOS: sacrament of human nature”.
