INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR-TRAINING AT UKRAINIAN TRAINING CENTER OF FAMILY MEDICINE

The interactive seminar-training on improvement of qualification for teachers, postgraduate students, resident medical practitioners, interns and young scientists of NMU was held on 21-22, June, 2016 on the base of Ukrainian training center of family medicine.

48 attendants: teachers of divisions/departments of family medicine, infectious diseases, epidemiology, Phthisiology, representatives of the corresponding administrative divisions of NMU, as well as general practitioners at clinical bases of departments, postgraduate students, resident medical practitioners, interns and students of NMU took part in the work of seminar-training.

During two days of academic cycle the attendants considered the modern approaches to treatment of HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C. They also received the free test version of remote courses and possibility to learn to use the resources of website BMJ Best Practice.

The training was held together with representatives of academic department in British medical journal (Great Britain) BMJ Learning, which is the acknowledged leader in improvement of qualification at medical staff.

The performance of training provides with integration of international experience into system of continuous professional development of doctors, first of all general practitioners in family medicine and support to medical education and clinical researches, according to the Law of Ukraine “About higher education”, as well as the strategy for development of university for 2015-2020.

After seminar-training the participants received the certificates from MHC of Ukraine and British medical journal, as well as free access to the materials of educational informational site of British medical journal.
