FUTURE RESEARCHERS VISITED THE LABORATORIES OF SRI ECM

The excursion of pupils from the 9th classes of lyceum and 9th and 10th classes of medical gymnasium No 33 to Scientific research institute of experimental and clinical medicine of O.O. Bohomolets NMU (director – professor L.V. Natrus) recently took place at the initiative from department of bioorganic and biological chemistry (head at department – professor L.V. Gayova) and administration of Ukrainian medical lyceum of NMU within the professional orientation of schoolchildren, popularization of scientific researches and interest to higher medical education.

The employees of the institute, who work as teachers at department on part-time basis, showed the experimental and diagnostic laboratories to pupils, popularly and clearly told about scientific opportunities of SRI, research and measurement techniques. The conversation was built in the form of interactive interaction and children kept the dialog with satisfaction and expressed their opinions.

The laboratory of molecular biological researches made the special impression on lyceum pupils. They with satisfaction listened to the story about possibilities for modern genetics, its clinical importance for patient. They were impressed that such scientific horizons at O.O. Bohomolets NMU are already real and open for young scientists.

Most visitors assured the employees of SRI ECM that this excursion made their professional choice for medicine more conscious and they would take the best efforts to enter namely to our medical university.
