KATERYNA AMOSOVA: “PAYING ATTENTION TO EACH ENTRANT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT!”
On July 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the auditorium named after P. Buiko №1 of Morphological Campus the Rector of the University, Chairman of the Admission Committee, Professor Kateryna Amosova had an establishing working meeting with members of the Admission Committee. The event was attended by vice-rectors, deans of faculties, members of the selection committee, technical secretariat and journalists.
Professor Kateryna Amosova described the situation at the University: “Currently, all the democratic achievements of the University that have been obtained in a hard struggle for the past four months have been compromised by the absurd decision of the notorious Pechersk District Court.
Order on V.F. Moskalenko’s dismissal from the office was issued on the basis of the legitimate expression of the University Staff in accordance with applicable law. That is why the decision of 4 July 2014 on V.F. Moskalenko’s renewal as a rector is illegal, violates freedom and democratic aspirations of the University community.”
Professor Kateryna Amosova emphasized that despite everything the Admission Committee will run in normal mode, and the issue will be resolved in democratically and open way: “We are democratic educational institution”. Chairman of the Admission Committee of O.O. Bohomolets NMU noted that in the current situation each applicant requires taking into account and this is the most important thing.
Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee, Docent R.V. Terletskyi informed about the readiness for early admission campaign of all units of the Admission Committee and Technical Secretariat, as well as concerning the results of their work during this year (final meeting on admission of students for training under the budget form is on 11 August, under the contract form of training is on 18 August) and emphasized on creating the atmosphere of maximum politeness and tolerance towards all applicants and their parents, particularly from the eastern regions of Ukraine.
Docent Terletskyi assured the Rector of the University, Professor K.M. Amosova that the members of the Admission Committee will make all their best efforts to ensure that enrollment campaign was conducted in the transparent and efficient way.
