ІІ CYCLE “COURSES ON EMERGENCY PRE-HOSPITAL MEDICAL AID” WILL BE HELD ON 29, NOVEMBER, 2014 AT 11:00
In September-October, 2014 the Council in Society of young scientists and specialists at O.O. Bohomolets NMU performed “Courses on emergency pre-hospital medical aid”.
The course consisted of 4 seminars, which included a number of lectures and master classes:
- Introductory lecture. Emergencies in military time and in living conditions. General concepts of emergency pre-hospital medical aid;
- Bullet and mine-blast wounds;
- Principles to render the aid to injured people with bullet wounds, peculiarity for treatment of bullet orthopedic trauma;
- Burns. Kinds of burns. Rendering the emergency aid at burns and frosts of different type and complication;
- First medical aid at stagnation of circulation and breathing;
- Medical psychological aid in stressful situations.
During the classes the participants increased their level of knowledge about emergencies and mastered the practical skills on rendering the pre-hospital aid at different kinds of trauma both in peaceful and military time.
The courses were attended by over 100 persons, who have no medical education and desired to master these very necessary skills. On behalf of all participants, who attended the courses and on behalf of the Council in society of young scientists and specialists of NMU, we express the sincere gratitude to administration of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, employees at departments of NMU and lecturers, who took part in preparation and performance of master classes and lectures.
