ІІ STAGE OF OLYMPIAD IN PHARMACOLOGY: THE STUDENT OF NMU TOOK THE MEDAL PLACE
The 2nd stage of all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiad in pharmacology took place on 7-9, March, 2016 on the base of Odessa national medical university. O.O. Bohomolets National medical university was represented by students of the 3rd course in medical faculty No 2 Yelyzaveta Kekkonen, Nazariy Mysynchuk and Stanislav Yeremichuk.
The best students from 12 medical higher schools of Ukraine took part in the Olympiad. The Olympiad consisted of two stages: answers for 40 tests in different sections of pharmacology, solution of 5 situational tasks and prescription of 10 medication orders. The winners were determined due to total number of received scores. The pharmacological tournament, at which the winners were determined in team game, was also performed.
The team of students from O.O. Bohomolets National medical university worthily represented the university at the Olympiad. The student Yelyzaveta Kekkonen took the honorary 3rd place.
The excursion along the city was performed for participants within the cultural program. The students visited the museum of history of Odessa national medical university, museum at department of anatomy and simulation center, where the future medical men tried to perform the laparoscopic cystectomy. At the end of the Olympiad there was the round table, where they discussed the most urgent issues of modern pharmacology.
