THE SECOND DAY IN WORK OF THE CONFERENCE

The first in Ukraine among higher medical establishments two days scientific practical conference with international participation “Higher medical education: modern challenges and perspectives” completed its work at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.

During the second day in work of the conference they performed the round table due to results from three sections of plenary meetings and the discussion of reports by participants. Today the participants reported about academic honesty in educational process and science (reporter – pro-rector on scientific pedagogical work at O.O. Bohomolets NMU, assistant professor Olena Stechenko); academic mobility at University (reporter – pro-rector on international relations and scientific pedagogical work, professor Olena Lynovytska), international exchange of students, perspective for implementation of residency in pediatrics, provision with quality in postgraduate education. The leading doctors and scientists from medical higher schools of Ukraine and specialists in medicine from the USA also made the presentations.
Over 30 speeches-reports were heard for two days of work, the presentations and round tables were performed, where they discussed the urgent issues that related to reformation of system of higher medical education, establishment of public health institute, University clinics.
The theses from reports by participants in the Conference were published by a separate collection of scientific works.
The first scientific practical conference with international participation “Higher medical education: modern challenges and perspectives” on the base of National medical university was performed in the format of round tables, discussions, plenary meetings and interactive games. This year its participants were over 300 specialists in the sphere of higher medical education and health care from Ukraine, Poland, USA and Serbia. They were academicians, professors, scientists and educators from leading medical universities and medical health care establishments of Ukraine.

The participants in the conference at the final plenary meeting took the resolution that fixes the key moments for modern position of higher medical education in Ukraine.
